-If we had 3D printers of any type, mine would have a backlog og tasks at all time.
-Food printing? If it can actually taste right, you'll have perfectly balanced diets that won't even give you bloat/gas and meat every meal.
-When metal 3D printers become cheap enough, the only copyrighting will be for intellectual properties rather than physical products, and gun control will be moot.
-Bio-printing? Sure it would save lives, but almost immediately people will start doing elective cosmetic surgeries like bigger private parts or lip fillers.

I think you are overestimating the speed of a 3D printer, it takes hours for the smallest bracket to print, I have one and have built one, they take 2 hours for a circle that is 2cm thick and not filled in.
