Ok here is my story, I got Multipel Sclerosis with Fatigue, I can not take Modiodal that is suppose to help for Fatigue it is made by ORIFARM, I am allergic to their poison, I ended up at freaking ER after their penicillin 2 summers ago. throat got swollen, eyes, nose even my ears and tongue! so hell yeah Monster and Powerking and Redbull FTW to keep me from not sleeping all day long! :( I do not drink every day and I only drink when i REALLY need to. My energy burn out like a sparkler three times faster than a normal persons energy. I did ask my neurologic doctor at the hospital for a stemcell transplantation (50/50% chance to get free from MS! worth a try imo, they do not do such things in Sweden too expensive and I was and still am not sick enough. They rather keep you sick to earn money on you till you die! >: ( what is this for a freaking psycho sick society huh! >: (

-Thanks again for having me on the show! - Energy drinks are certainly a controversial issue and moderation is key. There will always be people who abuse them, people who stay away out of fear, and people who (still) think all energy drinks are the same. I hope this episode illuminates how complicated the truth really is. Yes, SOME energy drinks are bad for you, but so are SOME coffee recipes. -You can learn more about me, my books, and my work at GreenEyedGuide(dot)com. -

I drink Rockstar energy drinks. They are 300 mg of caffeine in each can along with all the other additives such as vitamin b, taurine etc. One a day gets me going better than two cups of coffee. Red bull and all of the other energy drinks that don't show you the amount of caffeine faux energy drinks. They are gimmicks to make money. You've got to have that caffeine to get that real boost.

From 12: 30 to the end of the video is the bottom line about these energy drinks. 400 mg or less is the optimum amount of caffeine for someone who is looking for an energy boost. Take it from an old timer who used to take No Doz ( 200 mgs ) as a regular for cramming for exams during college and taking No Doz during the numerous cross-country trips that I took in the 70s and 80s.

This is the first What if discussion I watch and I admit it is great and it is also great you listened to us and make the videos shorter since that was the main reason why I could or did not want to watch the longer ones because I was kind of lazy to watch a video on YT for that long, but honestly, this topic is really interesting and I loved the video.

I have a Bang, Reign or Adrenaline shoc everyday.
Zero sugar and calories but yes it contains Sucralose. Doesn-t seem to affect me or give me energy, it just wakes me up a bit since i do transportation for offenders early in the morning.

I do drink energy drinks once or twice a month, but usually I just drink water with some very rare exemptions, also I don't drink coffee every day or right as I wake up, and I started drinking coffee at 21 years old

I was addicted, 3 cans 335ml per day for four years. Started as 18 year old, what happened: liver cirosis, heart attack at 21, permament problems with sleep, type II diabetes. Don't drink it.

The crash from energy drinks is horrible. I can't get through all day without nodding off if I have one early in the day to wake up. Coffee works so much better for some reason.

Espresso has the same coffee content as a latte or cappuccino. Unless it's a different coffee to what we have here in aust? Here it's a short black.

When I talked to my doctor about the difference between coffee and energy drinks, he said simply, coffee is natural, energy drinks have chemicals.

You can drink everyday but just don't overdose them. Best is to exercise often to sweat and detoxing them out.
