we can be inside I massive blackhole but I feel tidal effects on a stellar mass one would be too great so it would probably wreck us before we see it coming stellar mass black holes start around 3. 3 solar masses was well the sun is like 99. 98 percent of the mass of the solar system and the smallest black whole is over 3 times as massive. so if it doesn't kill us we will be orbiting it.

The thing which i learnt so much by watching what if, is the ability to think on feet and find a new solution to any problem so easily, I developed this habit bcos each and every time I watch a what if episode, the description of the destruction make me think how we can find a solution and eventually, I started to think out of box

We would see the black hole if it was out of are solar system because of 2 things the lensing effect and its pitch black we will see no stars in that area and you would see a distorted disk like object
