If we were to detonate a nuclear weapon on Jupiter, it would likely have little to no effect on the planet itself. Jupiter is a gas giant and does not have a solid surface, so a nuclear explosion would simply dissipate within the atmosphere. Even if it were possible to detonate a nuclear weapon at the core of the planet, it is unlikely that it would cause any significant damage or change to Jupiter. Additionally, it would be an unethical and irresponsible action as it could have an impact on the other celestial bodies in the solar system.

You spend a chunk of the video talking about the asteroid belt but the asteroid belt is a misnomer. True, there are more asteroids there than anywhere else, but the space is so vast you could launch 100x times the amount of nukes blindly towards Jupiter and not hit a single asteroid. In fact, if you did hit an asteroid it would be like winning the powerball. The odds are so low it's ridiculous to even consider.

You ignore the real size of JUPITER. No matter how many nuclear bombs you dropped on JUPITER, nothing would happen because JUPITER is a GAS giant. So there are completely different conditions, not to mention the enormous GAS pressures. JUPITER wouldn't notice it at all. Note the MASSIVE SIZE OF JUPITER!

But how do we know how hot the center of the sun is? Has anyone ever taken out a thermometer and measured? Or is just guesses as to what it could be? It could be cold in the center and violent reactions occur as cold air escapes to the surface causing -solar- explosions

Water bombs would be a better idea meby compressed water to teraform the moon and mars, I wouldn't recommend nuking outher planets that people might need to live on in the future, that might leave radiation.

It protects earth from asteroids hitting us and always had positive effect on human kind. Our solar system will end without Jupiter. Foolish to nuke Jupiter. Why would you do that. Nuke yourself instead. -

Well if the Jupiter get nuked our earth will get destroyed too cuz since Jupiter is not only bigger then the earth but have more gravity then earth so Jupiter protects earth from asteroids

the asteroid belt isn-t a celestial minefield, in fact they-re all so far apart that if you were in the belt, they would just look like extra bright stars

You are lying man-
Asteroid belt area, it's not dense at all.
Distance between two asteroids is 1 million km which means no danger to space flight!

if we destroy jupiter, lets say bye bye to our lives bc when any type of astroid coming towards earth, jupiter blocks it like jupiter is our big dad

My question is not what if. but why. we need jupiter for its gravitational pull. leave jupiter alone before we find out something we not ready for

Interesting. But we don't have enough to do anything to that giant planet. Although we must get rid of all nukes.

Does anyone know what program What If uses to search for the background videos used for its storytelling videos?

Why we would do something like this? I prefer watching a footage from inside. It must be a complete chaos
