They also need a bigger cartridge. 22lr is by NO MEANS a self defense round. It is only intended for practice and small game hunting. Look this ENTIRE issue could be solved with just a little discipline. Early in my life I was taught the basics and importantance of gun safety as well as the Incredible weight of responsibility in using a firearm. If we just promote more gun safety and teaching. MORE PEOPE will understand that firearms are just inanimate objects that can be used safely and the BLAME of mass shootings is ONLY at the shooters feet not the gun community as a whole. If we move towards finding identification methods FOR THESE sociopaths. We will have a MUCH SMALLER CHANCE of mass shootings. There is NO NEED to further complicate gun laws, which are ALREADY confusing and contradictory at times.

Can This Firearm be compatible with Bio-Cybernetic Implants. My wife is a U. S. Army Veteran and my choice of employment was private unarmed security, being Americans time has changed. We're going to go back to firearm training soon.
Just looking for a firearm that is smarter, safer, and can be easier to detect for helping cases where we will not be seen as any type of threat. But police and public will see us as upright citizens. Also is there a way to tag the ammunition, so we know who's projectiles are who's!

Unnecessary complexity in a product where reliability is the number 1 consideration. A product where reliability could mean the difference between life and death. Anything that could remotely reduce reliability should not be introduced. Especially not to solve a problem easily mitigated by far simpler and more robust solutions.

Smart guns, BRILLIANT! Don't let the batteries die or it's useless. Don't take off your watch or it's useless. Don't try using it when there's a jammer around because then it's useless. And don't leave the gun laying around because the smart gun safeties are useless in a world where magnets exist.

Well the whole point of the gun was to not be usable in the event of a person or children finding the gun they couldn't fire it. Also nobody is going to be carrying a transmitter and stacks of magnets just randomly everyday. So in other words the gun is still a form of protection and safety.

Im sorry but in a shooting you would not have the time to use those tools. Its a very dynamic situation. The only thing i see is stealing the pistol and then use it but if you can disassemble the gun without the watch you can render the safety features useless anyways.

Anything can be a weapon. Proven by several countries now banning kitchen knives Basically taking away any persons right to defend themselves is immoral. Prosecute criminals, stop letting felons who use guns for crimes walk free.

Imagine not being able to shoot because your electronic gun got wet (all guns should fine with getting wet, period) or if your batteries run dry in a self-defense situation. -Oh, I have ammo, but my AAAs are dry. Guess I die. -

When you need your smart gun for self-defense or to save someone - the battery is dead or there is a short or another unforeseen glitch. Smart Guns aren't that smart - just expensive and dangerous to the owner.

Working and mandated smart guns will just make it harder for law-abiding citizens to own a gun. You know who will still have guns? Criminals. Keep cracking open these bad ideas. Smart guns are not the solution.
