You pass everyone by in a quiet supercar and still no one notice. That is a problem. When people hear the roaring sound of a Diablo and Ferrari, those supercars draw attention of the drivers in nearby cars and pedestrians, and people having their sip at the cafe. Hummm. Don't get me wrong. I own Tesla stocks. However, I am very demanding on the companies which I invest in. They have to make superior products and products which the general consumers want and desire. If their products are not targeted right, desire level will be limited. I wish Elon can address the new supercar with some artificial roaring sound, which can be turned on and off manually. The roaring sound of a supercar increase adrenaline as we all know it. You are the fastest at the stoplight, but no one notices which goes against the purpose of buying a supercar - to draw as much attention as possible.

Also, Tesla needs to get at least 50% of all pre-ordered Model 3s out by end of 2018. The company needs a lot of cash, Tesla needs to record sales so that it has money to pay for its continued product line expansion. I am increasingly bothered by its cash burn rate. Or, Elon should consider going IPO in Hong Kong or China. Just don't give us - the investors - another secondary stock offering. Some of my friends and family members are already thinking of not getting the model 3s. I really need the production to be on schedule as an investor of Tesla. And, Tesla needs to maintain a secure cushion of lead time ahead of other newcomers to electric cars. It needs to maintain that lead by pushing production to be as on time as possible.

I like we can move forward with gas emissions and saving the planet earth step by step. But by saying how -the point of this (tesla cars) is just to give a hardcore smackdown to gasoline cars- is kinda ignorant. What about all the car enthusiasts that have given their souls into the kind of cars that make remarkable noises and great performance though gasoline. You can't completely discredit people's hobbies and you will never make the petrol-heads go away. Never.

Although it is a neat idea electric Semi trucks are completely impractical unless we are speaking in a context of a very, very specific set of circumstances. The technology is still fairly far off to replace much more then I'd hazard a guess of maybe %10-%15 ( being generous ) here in the US. IF you are talking worldwide that percentage would be much lower. Please work on the design of the truck TESLA, they are quite ugly.

they should work on making this more practice. Making super chargers/hyper chargers as convenient as gas station. Making the vehicles at a price the an average or below average income family can afford.
Don't get me wrong I love Tesla and what they and Musk are doing. I just don't see these things taking off until they are as convenient and practical as traditional cars

The roadster looks awesome. A porsche 911 gt2 rs would eat it alive on a circuit. It's not a hardcore smackdown against gas powered sports cars, it's a hardcore smackdown against gas powered drag cars. For the time being, the ideal layout in my opinion remains a hybrid powertrain (e. g. laferrari, p1, 918, regera)

There should be a way to hot swap the batteries at charging stations so a 'fill up' would only take a few minutes to change the battery. Plus Tesla could swap out older batteries with newer ones so the consumer wouldn't have to worry about battery degradation and would help avoid battery related issues entirely.

Mr.
-Save the world- really means -make things convenient for humans-. The world will survive and continue on even if we'd wipe ourselves out with a nuclear holocaust. Many species would still survive and the cycle starts again.
-Save the world- lmao

with all of our advancements in technology you would think we would have vehicles getting 100 Miles per gallon by now. You will never see a production vehicle with 100mpg not because it's impossible but because oil companies won't allow it.
