We are already seeing that human made technology will always be flawed because it will contain the biases of the creator and may pick up algorithms and simulations the creators may not be able to control.
It-s all about the intention of the creator and within that remains the flaw.
We see this already within social media platforms and early stages of meta verses.
My guess is technology in the end will dehumanize the human experience.
The very selfishness of humans to survive over others shows itself in history over and over again as technology just changes its shape or form but essentially the human intentions stay the same,

The battery metaphor could well be true.
Some theories suggest that there are entities that feed off fear, anger, hate, frustration, depression - the energy these emotions create.
Plus, people are far easier to control, if they are fearful and depressed.
If true, it would make sense why the planet's controllers would keep us in this state, much of the time.
And keeping the Muggles slaving away so that an elite few can live in obscene luxury, with no need to even lift a finger, unless they wish to, certainly seems to be part of the overall plan.

Some food for thought. Lets assume simulating another universe is a natural step for advanced civilizations to take. Even a simulated universe would evolve to a point where it can simulate a universe. We could be anywhere on this chain of simulations, but since we are unable to simulate a complete universe yet we can assume that we are either first or last on the chain of simulations. 50/50 chance we are simulation.

The fantasy that we are living in a created world is just the latest version of humanity desperately wanting to believe the universe has a creator who made us on purpose. It is the same impulse behind every religion. People simply cannot live with the fact that we are nothing more than clothes-wearing monkeys on a rock in space, and the universe neither knows about us nor cares about us. Take _that_ red pill.

Many girls did me wrong, many! When you think about it, i am only human, a guy, and ugly, and in need of a gf and love. Many girls are just not FAIR. Not my fault for my looks. Many girls would be soooo mean, rude to me. I LOVE them and want just one. Don-t get me started what was done to Bosniak women and young girls back in 1992-1995--also i want to add I seriously hate bullies and stalkers, satanism.

How come nobody with a platform has ever pointed out that there are may other solutions to Bostrom's problem. Like how about these:
4: we are the first life ever to exist;
5: it is impossible to create simulations in principle due to the chaos theory nature of it;
6: simulations have been created but we are not in it?
Like how come nobody had provided any of these obvious solutions?

So earth -base reality- died billions of years ago, we are a simulation on a group of satellites floating through interstellar space. Able to survive multiple satellite losses and construct new ones. All programmed by us using ai billions of years ago. Our aim was to simulate earth exactly, pain and all. In theory we could simulate ourselves again and again to escape each earth we kill.

I do not know. I know i used to be loved and respected. I used to be able to get a girl just like that. Long time ago. I was like a magnet for them.
