interesting thing about immune system and gut health- i have IBS, my gram and uncle have IBD (crohn's, and all 3 of us experience an uptick in gut symptoms during spring and fall- allergy season. while there isnt -official evidence-, preliminary stuff is finding there's probably a link between allergies and IBS/IBD, considering the immune system is mostly in the digestive tract and when the immune system is irritated it'll probably irritate the gut

Dude thank you for this. I have IBS and Crohn's disease, plus I'm lactose sensitive but love milk and cheese so I deal with it lol so my stomach is always angry at me. Whenever I look something up it talks in terms I can not understand. So I really appreciate the easy to digest (aha aha. Ah. ha) Way you spoke about it. Thank you.

the people that i know that have IBS are really anxious about finding clean washrooms etc in public places so whenever i am with them i simply keep talking and keep their minds off it. works like a charm. the more they think about it the higher the chance of the IBS kicking in

The food poisoning answer is very misleading- working in a restaurant I am upset he answered this way. There are so many foodborne Illnesses, and the vast majority of the normal ones have a much longer onset time than -almost immediately. -

Beets though. I eat beets (which I love) and a few hours later my pee is purple and my poo the next day is red ( and no it is not blood) but it takes days to -push it through? Just makes me more confused. I'm not worried I'm just asking.

When I first got green poo in high school, I thought I was in trouble. My friend's mom asked if I drank too much grape juice.
