I agree that the voice-acting is not the best, but I do have to commend them for volunteering to read the play to the best of their abilities.
I also like to imagine that they're this small group of old, British people who do this sort of stuff for fun; I would at least give them a break for the poor quality.

I tried listening to this for an hour while drawing and haven't learnt anything. Just watched a ten minute summary of the book and actually understand what the plot is now haha. No hate on voice actors, but the book itself. pshhhh

This helps for my English Assignment but I have one question.
WHY ARE SOME OF THE MALE CHARACTERS VOICED BY WOMEN
Those being Cornwall, Gentleman, Albany and others are voiced by women!

Everyone’s upset about the voice actors, but this was done by volunteers
If you were a volunteer civil engineer your bridge would not stand

As much archaic this kind of literary, and british English is; as much difficult toMe. Still I love It, and I want more; and more. Please, one more play, and.

I cringed when I heard Kent. The accents are terrible. I recommend the one by Renaissance Theatre Company starring Kenneth Branagh and John Gielgud.

Every single one of the readings done by this particular group are absolutely horrible. Go listen to the beginning of Othello. It's even WORSE.

thank you a lot! I listen to it on double speed while I read along. Helps me to focus on the text and actually process what i am reading: )

I got as far as the first line, 'I thought the King had more affected'. nope I'm not listening to these voices doing Shakespeare.

Regan speaks like some inconsiderate woman who pleases herself purely by evil, and nothing else.

9 pages in and there have been 9 misread words. Reserve thy state for example, is Reverse thy state.

I got 3 minutes into this and couldn't go on because they all sound like variations of kermit the frog

This is really helpful. I especially enjoyed Edgar when he was Tom. Lear was also wonderful.
