Jelly! You and me both! I supply teach and bring my guitar. One day there was a bucket truck fixing a power line on the road in front of the school. I asked the kids to watch the people working for a minute without talking and then we could talk about it together and then we would do something fun with what we learned. After the minute I asked a couple questions like how do you think it would feel to work up in a bucket like that etc after a few more questions and their excitement seemed ramped I asked who thinks we could take our ideas and make a song about it All hands went up with smiles and we did it. took about 15 mins to get a couple verses and a chorus. Then I said that if we all had a good day with some time left before end of day. I would take out my guitar and we'd put some music to go with our words. And FYI You would be a great supply teacher! but the admin would sometimes chastise you for your ideas like they do me! I also used AI to write a song for Grade 11 chemistry students to help them remember the bonding rules of elements in the periodic table. (Like the Skeleton Dance song) I wish we could get in touch!

The song was great and could be released as a kids song, until the rude and dismissive bit about using AI at the end. Rewrite that part, Roll, add in all the kids playing a bit at the end for some chaotic fun, and release it for a kid's song.

Kids make me laugh hard. The honesty is so funny! : ) I never had any, but my friends' kids can make me smile big time! : ) I guess because I remember being that way of seeing things. And then they grow up in a split second. Crazy.
