GRIMM'S FAIRY TALES by the Brothers Grimm - FULL AudioBook One of the greatest joys of my life was going to Germany and visiting the many Christkindlsmarkts. Seeing the displays of the various Brothers Grimm stories made me feel like a child all over again
Thank you for the wonderful retelling of these stories. Please don't be insulted when I say it helps me sleep - it's not that you or the stories are boring in any way! Again, it makes me feel like a kid again, listening to a soothing voice tell me a story I've heard many times. I feel at peace and at home

The Golden Bird - Good council comes from unlikely sources for things are not always what they seem.
Hans in Luck - We don’t control all whom we will meet on the road of life but we do control our discretion.
Jorinda and Jorindel - Listen to your dreams.
The Traveling Musicians - As you age, you eventually outlast your usefulness to society. Recognize this, and in old age, band together with friends and make music together.
Old Sultan -

You shaped my childhood. Once my cat Daisy had died. I wasn’t able to listen to violin music(I still can’t do this day without crying) and especially not to fall asleep too so eventually one of the audiobooks I had found that had worked was this one and diary of a Wimpy kid are just so nostalgic to me now thank you so much I know you will never see this, but just know you shaped my childhood

Hello Mr. Neufeld sir, Thank you. At 60 something. I'm enjoying listening to these old fairy tales. Your voice reminds me somewhere between Sir Ian McKellen & Sir Patrick Stewart. Both of whom I admire. Indeed I've been listening to you for hours. Your voice cadence, inflection, the acting. Just so enjoyable. Hope you know that.

My mother used to tell me the tale of The Straw The Bean and The Cole in Zulu as a child. I recognised it immediately. Goes to show how far reaching the Grimm's tales are. That they would be retold in South Africa.

I grew up with this audiobook because my mom would fall asleep while reading me a story or I would fall asleep, so she introduced me to this amazing storyteller. I'm now 13 going to be 14 and still listening to this man

Everyone knows it isn't Little Red Riding Hood, it's Red Hot Riding Hood. Tex Avery was a time traveler that inspired the Brothers Grimm.

I love this man, the stories are awesome and I alway fall asleep to them, I don’t really like women reading to me except my mom.
reply

Too bad these stories were not marketed as cautionary tales. I never understood or liked these stories because they were scary.
reply

I would imagine that there's not many 7 hour videos on YT that so many people are willing to watch in their entirety.
reply

These two brothers Grimm wrote very well. Easy to listen to. Bob Neufeld does a very pleasant and humble job.
