8: 00 these telescopes record all the time. This is dumb. They would have had a recording, also, there’s protocols for detecting worm holes and spaceships. This is common sense, but I guess we’ll ignore that because the plot has to happen.

This is a short story, I enjoyed listening to. Aliens described unlike no other I've ever heard of, so it was hard to get a complete vision of how they looked, but I'm glad they weren't invincible and Ed killed one.

Some of the word choices 23 minutes in are kinda off. Like, we can use lead lined paint to ward off rays that are used for detection or destruction (paraphrased) isn't something someone would normally say.
