This book is awesome! I love how you just romp along with theese never overblown characters, the British thing--which is a refreshing change--and this creeping horror. Not only does campbell remind us that we are often what should be feared but his whole working-class people thing reveals just how ordinary the stuff to keep you up at night can be.
without patience and a truly open mind, he's bound to go right over your head; slowly!
