Adam Driver carried the whole Star Wars sequel trilogy on his shoulder. People literally went to the theaters to see The Rise of Skywalker because of him. And he was incredible, especially in that limited screen time he got in that final piece.
But his BEST movie is Marriage Story so far. I fear Joaquin will take this Oscar from him (Joker deserves it too, but I will give it to Adam Driver for Charlie Barber. For that act some described as:

I've seen only 4 films of him; the blackkklansman, the Paterson, what if, and Logan lucky. He's an excellent actor to me. The film I liked the most was Logan lucky, because it was about some generous criminals, it's a film I can watch again and again.
Paterson on the other hand, is also a nice film, but to me is that kind of films I enjoy only one time, I won't say why, because I don't want to spoil it, but if you plan to watch it, pay attention to the smallest details.

I've haven't seen -Silence- or -Marriage Story, - I'm saving them for sometime when I want to be depressed. Also haven't seen -Tracks- but I'd like to. I'd probably switch -This is where I leave you- with -Paterson, - because -This is- was just a really funny movie. Adam is definitely the Harrison Ford of the Sequel Trilogy & pretty much the only reason to watch -Rise of Skywalker. - I think we'll see many great things from this actor in the future.

I have seen number 6 logan lucky, number 3 KKK and stars wars. But now Ill seach to see the otrers. His performance is getting better and better becoming outstanding. For sure after his last film of stars wars in these moment many directors are loocking for him. He has made several diferent roles and leave his mark. For me he is a STAR and the camera likes him. Thank for this top ten.

Good list but. calling Marriage Story a comedy is. false. Also saying Star Wars his best work is also false and insulting to his incredible acting career. Kylo is awesome and he nailed the role no doubt, but is it his best? Nope. Marriage Story in my opinion is peak Adam Driver. His emotional range is impeccable and character incredibly believable. It-s a masterpiece in many ways!

I cannot BELIEVE that Hungry Hearts didn't even get an honorable mention! It just goes to show that great films can fall completely off the radar when not handled at all well on the publicity end of a production. He won a best dramatic actor award at Cannes for that role! Anyway, rant over. Look it up if you need further proof of this man's acting range.

Glaring omission: Hungry Hearts. A man who slowly becomes aware his wife, because of weird irrational beliefs, is starving their young son to death. Adam's portrayal of all the emotions this man goes thru is revelatory. Anger, frustration, panic, despair, you name it. It's his most overlooked performance. He's brilliant.

I-m glad you included all 3 Star Wars films together, instead of trying to single one out. Adam-s role as Kylo Ren/Ben Solo is what introduced me to him. He has since become my favorite actor. I would have included Hungry Hearts on this list. If not one of the top 10, then at least in the honorable mention category.

Falto Hungry Hearts una muy buena pelicula donde Adam Lucha por ayudar a su hijo, un drama excelente y premiado en el Festival de Venecia. Ahi el resumen de peliculas habria estado casi completo ya q su actuacion como el loco y genial Adam Sackler en la serie Girls tal vez no cuente como pelicula. ---

Great list as the only one Ive seen on here is the one with daniel radcliffe. I only discovered Adam when he portrayed Kylo Ren but have now watched Girls and Marriage Story. Marriage Story is definitely Oscar worthy.

I-m so upset that Adam Driver did not get the Oscar for marriage story, he deserved it. He-s a fantastic actor, a legend in the making. He is perfect and also absolutely gorgeous but mostly an amazing performer.
