-I-ll cry tomorrow- (1960) is an excellent movie with Susan Hayward portraying the true story of much beloved broadway star Lillian Roth and her harrowing struggle with alcoholism. Wonderful film, surprisingly straightforward and honest representation of women suffering with the disease. I-ve always loved the flick.
Another great movie about alcoholism in women is -when a man loves a woman- (1994) with Meg Ryan and Andy Garcia. I love it because it shows that the husband is very co-dependent in the relationship and constantly enables and care takes the alcoholic wife. Sadly our culture has mostly portrayed it the other way around. The wife taking care of her husband and children, covering for his alcoholism and screw ups that happen while drunk, etc. this is absolutely not the case and watch this movie!

For what reason are there some people that are so passionate with such things as AA? OK it works for about 10% yet, sometimes it's a major turnoff and a trigger to just want more. Give Steffon Barkload's method an opportunity, after just one hour, you'll have the ability to hypnotize yourself to both quit forever or control how youw drink.

Finally! Ray Milland( my favorite actor) is No 1. The Lost Weekend even beat Leaving Las Vegas as the movie about an Alcoholic. Both lead actors won Oscars. In A Star is Born, Bradley Cooper has a Great singing voice. Thank You for going back to 1945 to find this wonderful gem.

There's a good film noir movie titled Smash-Up; The Story Of A Woman, alternate title is A Woman Destroyed. It's an old black and white movie from 1947 similar to the original A Star Is Born. It stars Susan Hayward. It's a very good movie even though it's an old movie.

What a lot of nonsense. Beerfest surely is the biggest most alcohol fueled movie in history. I mean, the whole movie is about drinking to compete in the biggest drinking competition in the world.
