How to construct, draw and render superhero anatomy Geezey: please show me how to draw arms particularly the forearm, I would like to learn how you figure out where the forearms muscles swell and then taper off into the wrist, in both a bent arm, and a straight arm, I have so much trouble drawing them, I end up with arms that are all swollen muscles (extensors and flexor) with a short wrist. No other tutorials or artist ever show how, they just show the insertion and origins of the muscle groups but never how to draw them, when they expand or swell and when they taper off. Please help, I'm sure there are plenty of beginning artist out there that would love to know this. , you deserve to have 1 million plus views, your vids are the best, and you never say anything negative, you have an awesome attitude. Thank you for all your help in teaching us how to draw like comic book artist. Keep up the great work.

Do you normally use guidelines when you draw for yourself (if you have the time)/client, or is this for video demonstration purposes only? I've seen most of your videos and none of them, except this one, blatantly show what beginners do when starting off with the body: dots to represent how many head lengths the body is, what the skeletal structure looks like, and drawing basic shapes to represent the body parts. I thought I'd expect professionals to have this memorized and get straight into the anatomy.

I'm working on an idea for a graphic novel and my lead character, well is a 17yr old teen but a lean and awkward body, any advice for that? Just not sure exactly how I want to do it. and you're the best I've ever seen so I figured maybe you'd have some pointers

dinally an artist that teaches you propper details
what i learned here is perspective and anatomy
the darker the color the more you shade the lighter the color the lighter you shade and proper shading for details

After drawing the torso and the legs, moving on to the details, i straight up gave up on my face after spending 30mins tryna working on the face and decided to give up and threw it in the bin XD

Thanks! We recently read Michael Chabon's Kavalier and Clay and decided to give comic drawing a try. We really loved your tutorial and were surprised at how easy you made it seem.

I'm pretty good at anatomy. Its proportions I seem to have a problem with. The heads usually don't fit on the body anymore after I draw in the face. Weird.
