source: i am an education major at a college in new jersey. most of my professors would love mr feeny btw (this is the only thing i've ever seen from boy meets world though so this is my only knowledge of his character traits)

To be fair, shwarzeneger's character is probably used to working with adults, which is VERY different from working with little kids. The latter requires a lot more hand holding, and patience, and softness. You can parent or teach via fear and dictatorial fiat, but what you're really doing is training a really good liar who keeps as much from you as they can, and will probably act out as soon as they're out of your orbit.

As a teacher myself, I totally agree with the final consideration Dan makes. it would be nice to see teacher's out of a classroom environment.
Now, another thing I think would've been nice: Glee. The monstruosities commited by teachers in Glee (especially out of the classroom. I just wanted to see his reaction haha

Just wanted to point out that great line Mr Feeny says: the only thing that limits you is your laziness. Not the only thing that limits you is that you're lazy. Shoot for the bad habit, not the person.

Adjunct professor does not make you a teacher. This is coming from a high school teacher who is also an adjunct faculty member at a university. These are two VERY DIFFERENT PROFESSIONS!
