I think in total for my daughter's nursery we maybe payed 500 I repainted an old dresser, bought a cheap simple crib, got a cheap rocker and then 2 of those cube organizers. Most nursery furniture are just extra things that are nice to have but not necessary.

You definitely pay for adoption. I paused it. I think its 40, 000 for total costs to adopt.
Edit: I was right! I've had extended family and family friends who've adopted. It's crazy spendy! I've heard 40, 000 over and over.

lol, I am too busy dealing with debt, job instability, difficulty to rent, let alone buy an apartment, infidelity due to dating apps and hookup culture, to seriously consider having one day children.

I laughed at the cost of setting up a nursery. You dont need a changing table. You can also get a pack n play. There are ways to provide for the babys needs without going overboard. Cribs are expensive
