This was hard to watch. I was hospitalized for a ruptured appendix when I was 23 and I had a slew of other medical issues on top of it. I was not fed for 3 days, and the nurses that looked after me were either very abusive (yelled at me, treated myself and others in very rough ways, or did not care at all. I live in Canada Ontario in a well populated area, yet the nurses were absolutely horrid. They also ignored the call light from several people at night to sit and talk to each other for over an hour. Out of those 5 days where I had no strength. I only had one good nurse on the last night who actually stood beside my bed and made sure I was okay before leaving.

Quick story, I remember last year I was going to checkups for my heart condition. I dont know what exact kind of doctor she was but she worked in the cardiovascular field Im sure. So she did my checks and stuff and told us to go somewhere else to do something and me and my parents didnt know where to go so we went to her to ask her again but she was so rude. She literally yelled at us and showed us the way by pointing then walked before we finished talking. Needless to say we were pissed lmao

I made the whole room laugh when I had my wisdom teeth out. I am scared of needles because of my past so I got the laughing gas frist and the nurse asked me, dose your head feel like it is in a bucket. Then I respond IDK my head has never been in a bucket! Even the doctor laughed then other nurses heard the laughter and came to find out what was going on and when it was explained they laughed too.

I understand where they were going when they said that they sometimes ignore the call light. But after I had a spinal fusion (They cut open my back and put metal in my spine to make sure my scoliosis didn't get worse) I had this horrible pain and when they didn't come for 30 minutes, I was REALLY upset. I was 11 when that happened so my hormones were through the roof but it was pretty bad.

When i was nine i was in the er and i had to get an iv. and i was having a panic attack because i hate needles. so i asked the nurse if she could wait a minute so i could relax and catch my breath and she starts SCREAMING AT ME. Too bad! STOP MOVING! And then STABS the needle in my arm. so now im scared of nurses
