Happy National Personal Space Day! Jeska: Im a hugger with family and friends but not with strangers or people I have just met. Its no offense to them. I just dont know them. I could have really used one of those items when I was pregnant. Random people would just come up and start rubbing my belly. I hated it. My belly was super stretched and sensitive and it would actually make me nauseous. So now I NEVER EVER touch a pregnant womans belly even if were related without asking first.

Thank you so much for doing this video. I've survived over 15 years of physical, verbal, & emotional abuse since I was 5 yrs old. I am not a fan of hugs, pats on the back, or hands on my shoulder, or any form of touching without my consent. I just rather not. Part of it's fear and being uncomfortable and triggered to the times I was hurt. I love this movement and hope we can make it more normalized in our daily interactions. Thanks!

I just don't like to be touched so I don't touch people unsolicited in general but the idea of people being immunocompromised and shouldn't be touched to keep them healthy wasn't something I had thought of before. As someone from appalachia it's kind of strange to not hug/shake hands especially with like older folx.

As a person who hated hugs and physical contact love until I was 16 or 17 I fully appreciate this! It's so uncomfortable for someone to physically trap you on a hug. Or even lingering touch on the shoulder or something can make you feel real creeped out. I eventually grew out of it, or grew into hugs.

They should make shirts and stuff that are the opposite so like people who are feeling down and need physical contact can get hugs and stuff without having to ask (for people with depression and anxiety like myself I think this would be awesome)

I think this is not necessary. Instead tell people to learn to assert their own personal boundaries and I think people should be able to expect their boundaries to be respected without having a clothing item that says so.

There's this one dude who always walks 10 inches inside my space bubble when we walk to class. Watching this video, I'm done excusing him for making me uncomfortable. He's gonna get lectured tomorrow.

I am autistic and I really love this. I HATE being touched without knowing its coming. I dont know how to explain it but especially when Im overwhelmed it hurts kinda like Im being shocked.

Being autistic/savant and having abuse PTSD I'd love to see more awareness with this brand/concept so people like me could have an easier time without having to explain it to each new person

Americans are odd, in Canada we hug are good friends and family, if you dont see that person all the time you say gimme a hug, most of the time we just say bye or dap eachother up
