I Tried 3 Pregnancy Meal Plans
video description
-liver (I would say 400-500g) + I always buy pre-cured liver so I just have to cut it and cook it without the gross steps
-red onion to taste
-olive oil
-red wine
-salt
-a cast-iron pan
Cut the liver into pieces.
Heat up some oil in the pan and cook the onions with the salt in it until soft, put the liver in the pan on high heat to seal it, then add some red wine, some more salt if needed and cover with the lid and let it cook for something like 10-15 minutes on medium-low heat.
Enjoy!
I've grown up on fegato alla veneziana so I assume that kids like it, plus it's great for immune system and brain development: that's what grandma always said!
Lots of love from Italy,
Marta.

Dear Wine Mom.
Next time you eat liver contact Caribbean Girl.
#1 we wash and soak that meat in vinegar
#2 you cut that bad boy up.
#3. you use fresh seasonings a bit of peppers ( hot and bell ) and browning, worst case steak seasonings and really rub it in.
#4 after frying that up, you let it steam it down by adding a little hot water to the pot and covering.
#5 Serve it up

I love that Jackson is not picky! You should tell him that! It's such a good quality to have - he's lucky to enjoy more foods. I used to be such a picky eater and I think praising for eating rather than scolding for not eating works better. Just speaking from own experience, I don't think you do that!

My grandmother taught me to make liver with onions and gravy and it taste so good. Its the best way for me to increase my iron when it drops. She said treat it like an expensive steak. Add some mashed potatoes or rice a veggie you like and there you go a steak dinner.

This gave war flashbacks to when my mom would force me to eat liver it's literally the one food I hate the most in my life. And Jackson is so right, the aftertaste is the very worst part of it. But I love Brussel sprouts too, high five Jackson!

To be honest liver has to be cooked fresh with basic but well seasoning. I don't think you should wash or soak it in milk just cut cubes and toss on an oiled pan with salt and pepper and let it take some color and it will be tender and tasty.

The first one doesnt seem like enough food for anyone, much less for someone who is LITERALLY GROWING A HUMAN. Honestly, this didnt even seem like enough food for a kids. Also, I mean your pregnant, eat what your craving every once and a while!

Actually liver is not the best choice of meat during pregnancy because it contains high levels of vitamin A and it is not safe for the baby. This is what my doctor here in Italy told me!

'We're not a huge meat eating household' 5 seconds later 'Gosh, why can't it be a rack of ribs? '
I actually stopped eating meat and this mentality is wild to me now.
