I know that's from Trader Joe's, not from any traditional Indian cooking. jabsd: Indo-Guyanese people should be proud of who they are, their great grandparents suffered a lot, shipped out from India to life of servitude and hard labor. Promised they they could come back after their work contract finished (most couldn't read or write, and when their time was up most were not made aware and further, most could never afford to leave and return to their families back home.

It's a Malabar parrota, not a roti. The naan shown is not naan, you won't get anything like this in India when you order naan. Madras has been renamed Chennai is in south India, the dish shown is Dal Makhani which is north India. Chana masala dish is called Chole. 'Chai' means Tea. Don't call it Chai Tea, you're calling it Tea Tea.

Every Indian meal I've eaten abroad has been extremely poor, with the worst being in the UK and US - even home cooked Indian meals in the homes of Desi ppl has been very poor - thus best to eat Indian food only in India coz you're eating garbage everywhere else.

Does anyone else think that madras lentils was vatha kozhambu or kaara kozhambu? All the above ones have idea what it was and bluntly rejected it without knowing that it's a stable food in tamilnadu?

The vegetable masala burger is actually called vegetable cutlet and basically resembles the patty portion in a burger, so calling it vegetable patty would've made more sense. just saying.

eating frozen food, no one knows who made it, or when it was made and saying it Indian, and tasting it and giving reaction

Indian people that have no accent whatsoever and sound like every other American.
Did these folks actually grow up in India?

reply

Nah they don't count. They're clearly American. They have most likely had Trader Joe's food before. Get Indians FROM India. Lol
