I think it's just me, but even when I follow a recipe, my things don't come out the same. Like brownies, they don't have that layer on top that I love, it just turns into a cake. :(

Literally just bought a box of the Ghirardelli mix before I even saw this. I feel like the quality of the chocolate is totally worth the price, but it's all subjective.

No brownie mix beats Ghirardelli. Ive always thought Duncan Hines looked good but lacked balance in the flavor, like they were missing salt or something.

I have like 3 boxes of that exact Duncan Hines brownie mix at home. The family and I love it. Ive never attempted making my own. Maybe Ill do that soon.

as a coffee lover, I like to put some instant coffee into my brownies. It just enhances the flavour, and makes it less sweet.

Ghirardelli is the best by far, especially the dark chocolate if you cook it right the time. Duncan Hines tastes more like cake.
