Lychee = more to an english way of pronunciation (even in hokkien, a chinese dialect); where as Li Chi = is the mandarin pronunciation

Lie-chee (the way Andrew says it) is the Cantonese pronunciation, whereas lee-chee is I believe the Mandarin pronunciation!
