I know about the operation baby lift. The first flight was bad but I believe a solution for finding people is here already. Ask him to look online for a group that reunited a few years ago. The group is made up of fellow survivors of the operation baby lift first flight. Most of them have reunited with living family so there is hope. Some did not as the family was decimated during the war. I say try DNA ancestry often that can speed things along, go with ancestry or 23 and me often those are good icebreakers as family in the US can be on there and contact is possible through email or message. It s how I found some family in Japan I didn t know about. It s worth a shot.

You might have passed your parent/extended family without knowing. I know for sure they do think of you. I hope somehow some day by some miracle you get reunited again with them but if you don't I want you to find consolation in the fact that you were loved and for you to have survived all that just know that you are most certainly special. Build your own roots, have a family of your own and let your offspring take it from there.

I. Am so sorry for that war but I am so thankful to live here in America with a beautiful Vietnamese community here. And I don t think this would be if that war didn t happen.

What a beautiful human with such a big heart. Very blessed to be alive and well. I hope he finds out more about his past and reunited with some family, if possible.

He is so lucky to be alive today, considering over ninety percent died at his orphanage. Survived an orphanage and a plane crash, what a story to tell
