I don't think the Thanos who wanted to -shred the universe to its last atom and build a new one who has no idea what it has lost- was reckless, but enlightened. there is some naivety in both the older and younger Thanos tho. Younger Thanos was able to realize that for the the half who are left, as long as they are holding on to what they have lost they will never be able to move on, the naivety of older Thanos. and that even if the universe is destroyed and created a new, it will still likely end up there, and just be snapped all over; in this sense, does it create a pointless cycle, perhaps the naivety of younger Thanos of what he sees as an alteration to his grand plan to make it perfect. at least allow the universe to consume itself into oblivion, naturally end, then snap to start a new. question I have, is after Thanos has the time stone, did he not view alternate versions of the future to see what became of the universe, or just snap and hope for the best; he has the freaking time stone, why did he not have a peek.

You could say that him seeing his own death after succeeding in his -destiny- was what changed his conviction in 2014 and made him beatable. Like Dr. Strange knew infinity Thanos will was unbeatable so he saw a plan that let him win, then had him go through a time loop and change his mind about his victory when he saw that the universe wasn't grateful.
It kind of makes the -avenging- concept that much cooler because their unwillingness to be accept what Thanos gave them and stay fighting its what changed his mind/mission and gave them the 1/14m chance to win. Shout out to cap, that stubbornness started with him. Tony might have needed to deliver the killing blow but in order for that to be an option caps conviction had to drive the comeback.

hey canadian lad, i got a question for you. Since thanos has such an elaborate character arc, and he can get what he wants by shredding the universe down to its last atom and building a new one which doesnt know what it has lost, why didnt he do it in the beginning itself? i mean the idea of a noble villain who is working for balance really adds to his character arc but this thing kinda sets me off, knowing he could use the stones to start from scratch. why insist on balance at all?
p. s. i love your videos. would really like to know this though.

Can we talk about why Thanos would go into the future to prevent. the future. He wanted to prevent his work from a completely different timeline being undone, rather than learning from what happened to his older self and changing the course in his own timeline with this knowledge in mind. Infinity War Thanos had a chance to kill Thor, Cap, Tony and well. everyone really. But he didn't. Now that he was prepaired, he would have definetely won in his own timeline.

When Thanos died in the first 19 minutes,
All I thought is, it's nothing other than Reality Stone.
Meaning, Thanos made Avengers imagine that Thanos Died and the stone are gone too, leaving them ( The Avengers ) in astray. and he (Thanos) continues to live alone for the rest of his life on The Garden Planet.
Maybe that's just me.
I hope this becomes a part of that 'What If' series in the future.

Worthy kings are those who might hurt someone else not because they want to, but because they have to. shift a bit and you will end up being a pcifist or a wrmonger, which both are not a worthy king.
I think that's why thanos is worthy of holding the mjolnir, he is a worthy king. thanos in the mcu is not really a vilain. he just have a diferent aproach to protect the universe.

The writers specifically understood what many viewers still don-t. The implication of Thanos having the gauntlet - is that he is all seeing, all knowing and immortal.
They can-t kill him. He won. That-s the logical implication of Infinity War - that-s why Strange has to accept Thanos victory - and death - and then attempt to -undo it-.

I think what Marvel is after is much more subtle and long game.
Thanos will be back - because he had the stones and snapped a second time.
But it will be a long time from now - at the very end of secret wars.
I base this partly on the comics because in the comics he makes himself one with the universe in order to guide it.

Bro, if possible answer me that,
Thanos in Avengers Infinity War. Gauntlet is wore in left hand,
But the 2014 Thanos in the End Game was in the Right hand.
When the gauntlet was only one. how could it be worn in a different hand?
Hope u understand what i want to ask.
Is this the MCU mistake?
Please explain.
