Nope. Didn't change my perspective. I already had loved the idea of fat Thor. I think it makes him more relatable for a lot of people, both emotionally and physically, it's great for character development, more realistic keeping him fat through the movie, and something to look forward to. Plus other reasons you had listed. Depression is no joke and while the theater laughed at Thor being fat, I mean it was funny! It also shows that anyone can struggle with depression no matter how well you think they have it all figured out.

My issue isn't he was fat. He had no sense of duty anymore. He can be fat and not at his peak anymore but he's acting as if he doesn't care for the safety of his people, who he saw get slaughtered. There was nothing he did that even slightly seemed like he wanted to protect them. And throughout most of the movie he didn't act like he cared. It seemed ridiculously out of place, but now that you say these things I get it. he needed to be nerfed. but it still feels so wrong

They just need to even the playing field lol. I mean thor alone at peak of his power is an even fight to a Thanos without stone. So u can imagine what the fight of Thanos vs IM, CA, Thor would go (the one before final battle. Besides they have always weakened Thor in all avengers movie except probably infinity war because other heroes need to look good too. Same goes with Hulk too. Imagine the hulk that fought Abomination

I like Thor doesn't matter even he became fat. But I hate captain america, coz he betrayed and lied and hide the most important matter from ironman. His best friend killed iron man's parents. If I was ironman, I would definitely join with Thanos, and the only goal would be kill captain america and those who knew the truth. Killed parents by captain america's friend.

Before the first watching, i've began a Thor Cosplay. After watching, i stop it. and my girlfriend and I, spoke about the character, go to see one more Time the movie and i understood the message.

anyone noticed this actually what happened on spiderman 2 sam raimi trilogy, that peter loses his power and become normal human being again, because his having a mental breakdowns, and loses his love once, (uncle bun, norman osborn, and ncluding losing his job) just like what thor experienced.

This is so true. I feel sad for Thor because I realized how much he could've been in Infinity War, but his vengeance gets the best of him. he could've just obliterated Thanos but he wants retaliation and justice for his love ones by making Thanos suffer

Technically Fat Thor is real depiction of Thor. Even in Norse mythology Thor has always been depicted as a little obese. God of War is the closest thing we have where Norse gods have been brought to life and even there Thor is fat.

even Thanos didn-t need to use power stone to win against Hulk.
