It helps them to transport oxygen more efficiently in area with higher pressure like under water.

So before I say this detail, I genuinly dont know if anyone has said this detail before
So when aquaman fight king Orm for the last time, the whole fight was like a summary of the movie
In the start, aquaman doesnt get any big hits off like in the beggining where he thinks he can just beat Orm.
Then midway through the fight, he gets knocked back representing his defeat when he fought Orm the first time.
Then after he gets knocked back, he goes on the defense more and that shows that Arthur now is a better person and now has the gial(the trident)

there are animals with al kinds of blood colors, not just red.
including some fish with green blood, because instead of hemoglobin family cells they have similar blood cells with copper instead of iron.
also, there is likely to be artificial lighting in the throne room so the red light filtering out is unlikely.

Aquaman is for me the best solo movie in DCEU. I love the CGI, the history and ambientation. Don't know how can someone say this is not good.
