We humans are so full of ourselves that it makes this feel believable. How easy it is to conquer us. The fact that we watch soul many movies and TV shows based on what we think aliens would be and how they would interact with us makes us more vulnerable because we believe we know everything and we believe we would be able to figure out an alien if we were presented with one.

Really great short. If I had one comment I’d say it’s just a little too much exposition after the twist/reveal imho. Take that with a HUGE grain of salt because I couldn’t create a sock puppet show much less a great short like this. Great work!

So up until they moved to earth, what the heck were they eating - the blood from herds of invisible cows that eat rocks - nah, not that believable - so why mars, maybe if its just some dumb cover story to not say where they are actually from.

Meh. I think I'd raid a blood bank if I was ET. That way you wouldn't have to make small talk with the locals. And you wouldn't leave an easily-followed trail of corpses.
Also, spy isn't the word, it's recon.

good but it would have been better if the victim was really from Jupiter (you know like the old twilight zone episode) and the stuff he extracted was really a virus that made martians into jupiterians.

I was expecting another twist, similar to that old Twilight Zone episode. The Martian could have collapsed outside because the dead guy was actually a Venusian spy, and his blood was deadly to Martians.

I knew the guy on the left looked familiar, he was on several episodes of Reno 911, picture him with a Mullet wig and a Trucker hat. He was Steed, Clementines BF.

This was a perfect short subject. Believable characters. Familiar setting. great pay-off. A shame I can only leave 1 thumbs up. Oh wait! Here ya go, 5 stars-
