10 video game levels we all got lost in

There are the best video game levels of all time...and then there are the worst and most confusing. Here are our picks Joshuaa: The sewers in Red Faction 2 had me turned around for dayyss. Just no actual indication of where you were supposed to go, the level was extremely dark from all angles, and enemies continue to spawn regardless of if you were backtracking or not.
Your only mission objective was simply -find a way out of the sewer.-
That's it. That's the only bit of info the game gave you.
Put together an extremely dark and complex labyrinth of a map, and remove the trusted rule of -if you're finding enemies you're going the right way- and suddenly you had a very confusing and rather stressful piece of gaming history.

Old PC gaem I do not remember the name of. First person-you had to go thru a maze. Now take those Vocano panels from the Tomb Raider game. Make the walls, floors and ceiling out of them into a maze where you walk into walls because there is no visual clue you were supposed to turn there. I basically hugged the wall till my character went Right and hugged the wall till he went right or stopped, rinse and repeat.

While the library does look the same the whole way through, you could just follow the monitor. The one that always got me was 343 guilty spark. Trying to find the second elevator was a nightmare. Rooms would change subtly aftwr the flood come along to the point where you couldnt tell if you had been there before and there were new bodies or if it was a new room with the same design

The Library from Halo 1 wasn't too bad as far as getting lost. It was really linear and you just had to follow the arrows on the floor to make sure you didn't get turned around. The previous mission, 343 Guilty Spark, on the other hand was extremely confusing. Every room looked the same there and it was so easy to go in circles. I got lost there constantly.

Lost Woods in OoT were super easy. There was a trick: once you walk on the black/shadow part of a tunnel, the room will render in front of you. If the tunnel stays black, then it is a trap and a wrong way. Do this slowly and it should work easily. Go too far and Link will activate the automatic walk into the tunnel.

I never had the pleasure of playing Ocarina Of Time as that was the same year i was born(1998) so gaming for me started on ps3 at around 8 y/o, but seeing the amount of videos like this one where this game is mentionned (and complained about) in almost ALL of them, kinda makes me glad i never did.

-Frigid Outskirts- in Dark Souls 2. You-re in a blinding snowstorm, which clears for a few seconds every half minute. But lightning reindeer appear during the blinding snow, and you can-t kite or lure them. When you first try, you-ll have no idea. People call it -Horsef--- Valley-.

Cathedral of the sacred blood in Code vein, but also people overrated as well it-s definitely a confusing area but not as bad as people say. And the chalice dungeons in Bloodborne, honestly I hate them because they are repetitive, boring and it-s easy to get lost in them.

Man, this game Real Life, uff... I'm Lvl 28 and although I have most of it figure it out, I still get lost a lot on what the mission or next objective is; does anyone knows the shortcuts on some of the levels?.

I played Ocarina of Time so many times when it first came out I memorized the pattern. I still have that feeling a little when I go back and play it. It's the Water Temple that I struggle on to this day.
