I just wish thay would all invest in better links between regions Google has recently run a huge data cable across the ocean to the UK beach so I was hoping it would provide better connectivity between USA and UK but I reckon that's not the case and believe it won't improve normal users data speed from UK to USA but who knows properly bissniss related

Once I was assisting someone with a problem they had in BTDB where they were in an arena battle and just barely won on their end, but the server recorded it as a loss with the opponent just barely winning, likely due to lag on one end, and deducted medallions accordingly

Been playing games from south africa for 10 years now, with 1 (valve) server being in South Africa. It's truly cancerous to play with 200-250ms vs people with 20-50ms, especially when you know you're better than them.

My internet is so bad that if my router was literally next to the server I still wouldn't be able to play without lagging every 20 seconds

there are also a group of cheaters who play on local regions and artificially induce lag into the system as to gain an advantage.
