I think it-s space quest 4 from sierra. You can change fuses and pull a specific fuse it goes from VGA to EGA and if you pull another fuse you turn off life support of the spaceship ending your life and the game

in the point and click game -Memoria- right at the beginning , u were asked if u like riddles..if u answer -no- , the game tells u that this game isnt one for u then und just ends himself , back to desktop...
