Google stadia: 7 ways it's a different gaming platform

Google Stadia is a new game streaming platform. What makes this one different? Is it worth a hardcore gamer's time? Let's talk Pedro: i really dont think internet will be a problem at all for the stadia. The stadia is not a console to fight head on against the xbox one 2 or the ps5. Stadia is just a test plataform. Google know there is no internet infrastructure around to have a streaming console...yet. BUT some people do have that kind of internet AND Google needs to test/debug their technology AND start to build their market. Now......if they manage deliver on their promises, they will be pretty big in 5/10 years
it is infinitely easier to enter/compete in a market that does not yet exists than it is to enter a 40+ years old market with only 2 companies

Could be very interesting, being able to play your favorite game wherever you are. And on whatever hardware you have on you, that could be really great. And being able to play together with people, and even in the same room that seems very cool.
But I think Internet is going to be the big problem here, not enough investment has gone into wifi and the Internet. Some people have it good, and some people really don't. So I think that could be a steppingstone that may need work.

With 5G on the horizon this can be a game changer no more big ass downloads turn it on the day of release get playing the only question is if it does work out what will happen to PC/Console gaming later down the line as it improves its technology a PC gamer can say I can play on ultra so...what? they can offer package deals later down the line for different prices depending on your budget like normal/high/ultra like Netflix pay a higher fee I'm definitely keeping my eye on this.

I believe that this is the actual future of gaming. No longer you need an expensive hardware, just one controller, an internet connected monitor, monthly/each game subscribtion and a powerful internet connections, of course
20 years ago, no one will believe if we say that one day we can just stream movies directly to your TV without having to buy VCD/DVD, but here we are now.

So if I have a 4k tv smart tv can i install the google stadia app on my tv and play from there or will there need other hardware like a wifi device for the controller? Yeah I am interested. If for da you have a weak laptop but a 4k tv will the game run in 4k? Do i need to purchase a new laptop like 500-900 dollars to get my foot in the door?

There's just SO much additional shit that i don't want or need.
And while this console is superior to current gen, the next gen is so close now.
Also, it's dependant on streaming. No matter what cool stuff it has, i must remain VERY skeptical for now.

Why do companies not host their own independent server that their consoles connect to eliminating the need for unreliable ISP's? Such as satellite communication streaming like DSTV in South Africa? Wouldn't that remove the bottleneck of slow ISP's?

It-s a no for me for now... all launch are mostly either faulty products and/or lacking features... the gaming industry turned me from Innovator... to an Early Adaptor... and now to a Follower. The market speaks louder than the marketing.

Best use of Assistant is to talk to our games, voice commands. No more using only the controller to interact with the game. Speak to the game, this will create so much more immersion and fun. Been waiting long time for this

I-m good, I-ll stick to Microsoft because I can at least trust them unlike google...
Edit:Also didn-t Sony already do this, and isn-t game pass a thing, which has no latency since you download the game?
