Sounds good, but why didn't you add classics like Tyrian 2000. It was originally a pay game, then some added content was put in and it was updated so that it would play better on non-dos systems, then released for free.
Also, though it is a paid game, there is a lot of content that is free for the game EverQuest....

11:41 HOLY SHIT! I used to play this sonic game as a kid. I had completely forgotten about it till i saw it in this list. Maaaaan, all those 'ol memories came flooding back of I got this game in a CD from a friend, and we spent a lot of time playing it! Thanks for mentioning this one, I'm gonna play it again!

Wait.. No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 are free now? I got NOLF back on my Pentium 4 Dell just because it could only play older games (and it was cheap). Great game. Need to check those out again! It's a well done Austin Powers type of comedy/atmosphere for those not used to the game.

Path of Exile.. All the enemies are the same, they all just run and hoard towards you. I got quite bored of quickly when realised how repetitive it was BUT I did enjoy the few hours leading up to the slump
