Bright Memory is a PC game designed by one person. How? Is it any good? Let's talk fanjoy: Umm you still need to know how to code even if your using blueprints in unreal engine. Maybe you don't have to type of every single line of code but you still need to know logic flows and what everything does which is something you learn by learning c++. Blueprints save time but it's not an easy ride like it's made out in this video. I see people in the comments saying oh I'm gonna go download unreal and make a game.. it's not that easy. Unreal isn't beginning friendly, and takes hundreds if not thousands of hours to actually become accustomed to it so unless you have a lot of time on your hands don't even bother. If your a newbie just use unity as it's more newb friendly

This game inspired me to make my Solo project, there is a lot you can do alone if you really dedicate to it.
But there are limits of course and I'm starting to feel I'm reaching that limit because of the time making this takes from you, specially in my case with 40h week job and can only develop on my free time. When you get no support and you invest your own money in the game is really hard to stay motivated and to stay monivated I focus on the fun I'm having while doing this and not the reception the game might have, because on that I expect the worse so I don't get disapointed :)

I will be checking it out when the full release is out there.
we need more imagination in games, more verity, and more fun, which the big publishers have failed to deliver with their robotic, focus group way of doing things,
we need both a talented team and a good manager CDPR has a great team but a manager that is not up to the job of coordinating the team. and streamlining the workflow.
It's a big job and requires a variety of skills and imagination, just saying we can do it over and over again is not going to work without a plan. and a blueprint.

It COULDN'T be a Triiiiiple-A game: It isn't completely unfinished, with a -Road Map- to finish it. It's not a glitchy mess, with assets floating in the air. And with how -expensive- it is to develop games now, it's not filled with Loot Boxes and Pay-to-Win XP boosts for sale in a -Live Service- shop. And Bobby Kotick isn't getting a $400 million dollar bonus. And it's way too linear - not like Tomb Raider or anything. Nope. It CAN'T be AAA. It just works.

We need more indie devs to save the gaming industry. AAA companies have lost their way, especially with execs rushing them to push out a product that is unfinished. AAA games try too hard to be everything for everyone, ending up being nothing to no one with all their genre mish mashing. Indie devs will help games return to form imo.

Lol i would need a decade just to finish a single character like that.
Currently working also in Unreal on my Game solo with only Blueprints and it looks like the Cat just shit on my Screen compared to this lmao.

The mobile version of bright memory is awesome. I played it on a phone with Mediatek G35 (Xiaomi Redmi 9C) and it was running buttery smooth.
