E3 facing big problems? New rpg announced & more
video description
BTW; I miss E3. Like it was in the past. It sucks that they now just put stuff online. Now I don't live in the US but I always had the dream to go see it. But it ruins my summer not to have a proper E3

The tin-foil part of me read the PS+ news and immediately understood why Sony tried to shutter the PS3 and PS Vita stores.
It's hard for me to believe that this PS+ revamp hasn't been in the works for at least a year, considering factors like platform dev time, licensing, bug testing, executive signoffs, etc, and if that's true, that means that they wanted to close access to those stores far enough ahead of the rework that people would forget. It makes a certain kind of sense for Sony, having the CEO go on record about not understanding the desire to play old games, shutting down stores that supply ownership (digital, granted) of said games, then announcing a year later that those same games would be included as part of the most premium tier of their subscription service.

SONY: good choice, in my opinion (like the Movies business: Theater, then BR/DVD then Netflix and other Disney+/Apple TV thing)
I suppose, new games will be on that new subscription thing 6+ months after their releases (and that good: those games would be fully patched by then; p )
EDIT:
Zelda 2: (the real reason, I think): OK, Switch players can tolerate playing at 25-30 fps, but 15-30 fps? No! Go back to work, dev teams => optimization, optimization (The New Switch, base on Lovelace / whatever will not be ready before 2024, using new QD-OLED display in a 7-inch 1080p display)

I won't lie, I was greatly disappointed by the new Halo show, along with my group of friends. Even after knowing that they didn't take anything from the games, which is fine, they just made a lot of questionable decisions. The CGI to me was awful, the way the elites looked left a lot to be desired, im a fan of the slender more athletic elites than the brutish elites. In the end, we couldn't finish the first episode.

Kinda sad for e3 not happening because e3 even though cringe and corporate, it was the week where my friends would all come together and watch, get hyped, laugh about video games. In highschool my programming teacher would use the class projector to play the ms conferences during class so we could watch it and it was the best! I'm really gonna miss it.

Hey guys I'm noticing a trend with these companies they announce a date for a release. but then they delay it and give a speech about how they want to make sure their game is perfect. It's like a new marketing technique. They do this so people think oh look they care so probably will be a good game. Every company does this

Honestly I feel like the game developers are just getting lazy. They throw out half ass games and expect us (gamers) to pay 60- 70 on a game that is terrible. I honestly think studios should have 2yr game cycles so that way we can get the games we deserve to have. But that s just my opinion.

Instead of E3, you would think Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo would join and make their own competitive tech event. That would show case up coming titles and have a competition for indie games as some form of Involvement. You would hope they would play nice to establish this

When is there gonna be a new Silent Hill game? I mean Konami licenses it and started selling merchandise for the series online so what's going on? Has anyone really even attempted to approach them on the issue cause right now it feels like we're all just in the dark.

As a PC gamer with gamepass, it is nice to have day one games, I feel like that s the main reason why I have it, All 3 tiers of gamepass include day one games. I have GP ultimate which also includes EVEN MORE games, it s honestly such a nice feature
