There is one thing that is super annoying though, It s the fact that they gate content behind story progress. Now you d think that would kinda make sense and not be so bad, BUT, it takes a ridiculously long time to progress through the story to unlock said content. Within the first 3-4 hours, you re stuck playing on 2-3 maps, the same like 3 match objectives, and the same 5 dinosaurs (raptor, pteranodon, pachycephalosaurus, triceratops, and the carnotaurus. I absolutely wouldn t mind gating content behind the story if it didn t take so long to progress and unlock said content. Overall I do like the game, but there are just a few things that are a bit annoying. It s definitely a good gamepass game, but with the limited content, I d recommend holding off on purchasing it until it s either on sale, or has more content.

Spot on. Great game idea and the structure (music, graphics, gameplay) is there for a good or great game, but there's not a lot of content. At its current state, it should be Free To Play, which makes the monetization more bearable and understandable. I was going to buy this on the PS5 because I enjoyed the BETAs, but I'm GLAD that this was offered on XBOX GAME PASS. I saved some money! I DID buy the Premier Pass for 8. 95 because I wanted to support the game. I HAVE had FUN playing it! However, I can SEE the player count diminishing in about two weeks or less due to a lack of variety and content.

The whole premise of this game is still being able to have p v e with the progression that you're performance can impact your p v p time frame. If you enter team, complete all necessary goals within the time frame listed. You get ahead of the opposing team. It provides an opportunity for team work to be praised. There is NOT only ONE game mode. There are multiple that span across about 8 different l9cations accounting for the fact that some maps have different routes. Give this game a chance and even a BYB can be a bit judgy on the cover as everyone can have their own preference.

If there is one game that needed a single player story mode, it's this one. I want to know more about this world because it's crazy. The fact that they didn't add any kind of offline mode, even a botmatch, is really a dealbreaker for me. I really wish bots would become a standard feature in MP only games again, because at some point this game will die, and then it's functionally worthless, and I hate that. If it at least had basic bot functionality, it'd still be playable years from now in some form.

New dino types and new final mission modes are introduced and I KNOW that none of us have played the Gauntlet which comes out soon. The Gauntlet is touted to be the end game mode. Reviewers really need to take more than 2-3 hours. I can tell it was 2-3 maybe 5 because so many of you guys are not even at the airport map in any of your videos. So sick of reviews that are rushed.

To get 1 or 2 more game modes, you gotta progress your Database and to get the 10 main raid, I assume it require a certain amount of players in the lobby with same progression? Gotten it once and it happened to me at 36%.
The game is just overall feel very balanced except the supports and Sniper might be a problem in PvE but it's minor. It's what Overwatch PvE could be and they got a new game mode in 3 weeks. Game runs buttery smooth too.

The Monetization Segment left out details and was partially wrong. War chests are level up rewards which give skins or cosmetics that are free in game with currency by playing.
The purchase in store skins are literal colour swaps of battle pass skins, take as you will if someone wants a skin the pass is just the better ideal purchase after you read them. Better way to describe the Monetization.

I played the beta when it released on ps5 excessively and It was fun! With that being said though I will most likely wait for this one on ps plus monthly games, I don't see it lasting in popularity at its current state. I could be wrong though if they drop new dinos modes etc. But right now I think I had my fix of Dino hunting and leviathan I can confidently say I'm living comfortable without

To be fair, the free to play is GamePass.
It would be great if there was a free to play and a premium by actually buying the game for 60. It is a game that was/is very expensive to make and was probably in some level of development hell so that would make sense for their only option to be 60. It's just great that Gamepass exists. It helps them gain an audience.

This game kind of reminds me of the game mode Gambit from Destiny 2. Two teams of 4 fight monsters to gather and deposit motes. When your team has enough motes, a boss will spawn. First team to take out their boss wins, but you can invade the enemy team and each player you eliminate drops the motes they were holding, or restores health to the boss.

Love gameranx but there is no way they fully played this game. Completely didn't mention the insane boss fights and 10 man raids, or even unlock the island, didn't talk about the mutants or head hunters. They didn't address the tiered difficulty system. I agree with most of the video but it's clear they didn't put alot of time into this.

Fan of capcom single player games especially resident evil franchise but I think they shoul give efforts to remake dino crisis games rather than this but hey who knows if this take off in terms of sales and profits we may get them in future so fingers crossed and Great video guys plus gamepass availability is great add on for sure

i really like it my only issue is the damage, It always feels like im not doing enough damage so idk how you're gonna have all these crazy high difficult multiplayer modes when most of the characters in the game barely do anything. But then again im not end game yet so maybe end game the damage boosts up or something

Lack of content and repetitiveness are the main issues. The game itself is fun but it gets old quick, and not just the game play or maps. The audio has some really bad repetition. If I hear Don't go breaking down one more time, I'm going to go crazy. I guess Capcom didn't listen to our suggestions with the beta testing.

Reeeeeally hoping industry isn't just pushing out half games just to flex the gamepass crutch. Also don't understand the we have a range of features and customization to make it your own on top of a solid gameplay experience. alright ship half of it and trickle the rest after we collect on initial sales. Played it for a few hours just after it was released and enjoyed it at the start but soon it just got boring. Same maps over and over and as you said it seemed that the only thing that mattered was the last segment. Hopefully when get new maps and better variety of modes it will be a much better game.

Guys this is a booty ass version of Overwatch with a lower framerate lol. Please do not give them 60 for this BS. The idea of replace classes with suits is cool. This should just be a PVP game with some PVE elements thrown in. Too hard to dev for you Capcom? Nah go talk to the StreetFighter 6 team.

I'm having a blast. Definitely worth trying if you have Game Pass.
I love playing Support and getting MVP every round because the points you get for healing are so OP.
In terms of the story/cutscenes, my PC takes off into hyperdrive whenever a cutscene happens so I skip it to make it stop xD
