If you are a parent, when you buy a new laptop or computer, there should be an option if this for an adult or minor and set it up so if there are changes like the computer is being factory reset it sends out an email to the adult observational account. quite literally the easiest thing a manufacturer could add for a parents piece of mind. All it would do would be alert the adult account that minor account is attempting to access site that is requesting confirmation the accessing account is an adult according to local laws. Considering it is mostly adults that order and get a new computer set up it would be an option most probably won't use unless they have kids that may access it or if this would be a kids PC to use. Instead of millions of sites setting up millions of ways to figure it out have the manufacturer make it and the sites use it.

I worked as a QA tester on console games for a few years. There is a point that is known as crunch time, where the studio either makes sure the game ships by a target date or the studio makes sure it does not ship by that date. Sometimes bugs reports get 'set aside' for a day one patch. And on a rare occasion, the studio will not set aside bugs for the a day one patch and let the game miss the target release date. As a general rule a game ships when the studio decides it will ship. Sometimes it will get delayed to not compete with a bigger release or for a more favorable release window. The game missing the launch for the $250 million payout is 100% the studio choosing not to release it by that date.

nintendo can reduce the price to 70 for donkey kong, but that's still too much IMO and I've had enough of their garbage. I can no longer play my switch games on my PC or Steamdeck, I am just done with them and I've stopped paying attention to their marketing. It doesn't make sense for me to watch their trailers if it's going to be difficult for me to afford the hardware or the games, or if i won't even own the game, or if i have no options for playing at better framerates or adding mods, etc. I can't feel fomo, if i don't know what a thing is about.

For number 5, it's FAR more serious a situation than most people realize. Credit card companies (Visa/Mastercard/etc) AND payment processors (Paypal/Stripe/etc) being able to dictate what a person is allowed or not allowed to buy, is absolutely Orwellian.
Once they start doing this (or being forced to do it by a government) then there's nothing stopping them from being completely in control of a person's ability to buy something online, or in person, using a credit card.
This isn't a slippery slope. It's a jump off a cliff.

I think what's important to note about Uma Musume/ Haru Urara is that people fell for the waifu, realized she's a real retired race horse, and loved her so much they started donating fancy hay to her. So much has been donated that she will eat fancy hay for the rest of her life and other horses in that stable get the extra. And its not exclusive to her. People love other horses like Silence Suzuka and Rice Shower that have since died and equally donate fancy hay in their honor.
Also Gold Ship is a much weirder horse/waifu.

with PlayStation going multi platform i really hope to see old PS2 classics like Jak and Sly to officially come to PC. I don't care how they do it, be it a port or an official emulation like what they're doing with the old games on their new hardware; i just want them in my steam library, see how much playtime im putting in, check the achievements that im unlocking, seeing if im playing it as much as the other games i have there and so on. this is probably a good and cheap chance to give old IPs a well deserved resurrection

There are games in my Steam library (now hidden and forgotten) that I either got for free, or paid less than $10 for. I thought I might enjoy them and five minutes in, I was like, no thanks. The games that are listed and installed in my library are games I enjoy and not only play once, but many times. I don't buy games just to collect them. For me, most games are garbage. For example, while watching game reviews on gameranx, the moment the phrase Soul's like is uttered, I skip that part of the video.

Hi! My name is Ronnie. And I have a game hoarding problem. And you are 100% right. I would rather spend 4 dollars on a game I might play or enjoy, then Buy all my games at full price. I have like 300 or so games. I will probably never play and beat them all. But I have them just in case. Plus my taste changes from time to time. Hardly any of those are free games either. You tend to spend more money in so called free games then you do when you just buy a game outright. Love gamerranx!

I believe microsoft going back from 80$ to 70$ is more of a strategic way to still increase the prices of their games. Ya know, like 3 steps forward, 1 step back. In the end, they were still able to move the goal post of having 60$ games to 70$ but with less backlash 'cause they can go hurr durr, we reduced the price from 80$ to 70$ 'cause we consumer friendly where the truth is, they increased prices from 60$ to 70$

the game is already 4 years old, but it's just released globally last month. almost all of the horse is based on real life horse.
that girl, Haru Urara, her story in the game is about her not giving up even if she loses. people like her not because she always losing, but people like her because she never give up and keep smiling even if she lose.

There's actually alot of evidence that Krafton did literally only fire the Subnautica lead devs to avoid the 250 mil payout. There's numerous leaked documents about it, Krafton have also admitted they're real documents. Oh and the 250 mil wasn't just for the lead devs, it was for the entire team working on the game. This is all public knowledge and easy to find

Do NOT use fake id like the deathstranding workaround for discord to bypass, it allows the collection company and the UK government to dig further into your transaction.
If possible, I would avoid the internet currently, this is a major breach of security exposing millions of people to potential fraud, ransom and worse scerarios.

13: 30 I am just going to get a new PC. Xbox can F off. I’ve been a Xbox fan for a long time but the series X and S is a shit show. The functionality of the devices themselves is getting worse and worse and they are loading the gamepass with 8bit Indy trash so they can say there’s 1000s of titles on it or whatever. F Microsoft

the Switch Pro (its not a new console useless mind sets) is not a great console as many people aren't buying them and if you live in the US you won't be buying one anytime soon as you TACOland residence are about to feel the tariffs as 35% coming from Canada you Americans pay and 15% from the EU you Americans have to pay

The Outer Worlds thing makes me think of that selling tactic where you start with an outrageous price and then lower it to make people feel like they got a steal. Yes, $70 is lower than $80, but it's still $10 more than the regular AAA game price and we should still be outraged

If you don't think a company will fire a useful person without very good reason, you're a fool. My company did exactly that and is currently suffering for it bc they realized in post that they removed someone doing vital tasks when they removed my co worker.
