MOONS OF MADNESS Gameplay Walkthrough Part 1 FULL GAME [1080p HD 60FPS PC] - No Commentary NotHereForIt: Okay so I love this but dear GOD I could have done without the main character's constant narration of his thoughts + obvious directions that the player would have figured out anyway. I wish I could word it better but like, there were so many voice lines that should have been text hints/tooltips instead of cringey, spoken dialogue. This game is at its strongest when the main guy (Shaun? Shane? Shane, I think) is talking to his fellow astronauts, the -Witch-/Filth. basically anyone but himself lol. That said, this is a fantastic game and the writing in some of these codex entries/found documents/computer terminals is freaking phenomenal (if wrought with a few grammatical errors/typos. Witch's voice actress is on point.
There are so many flawless transitions from the mundane to the insane in this game. So many great little details. The cairns. The little toy space ship you can pick up in the beginning where the toy astronauts fall out. Some of the EVA's were scarier than the monsters themselves, haha.

Wow, that field of vision is pathetic. also dont zoom in on your monster as it goes -Rawr- that is totaly overplayed, and it deflates any horror it might offer if we get a clear look at it. also dont have shitty FoV in first person games. please, it does not make things more spooky its just annoying. Dead space 1 is practically unplayable wtihout widescreen fixer, and without manually editing the config files for decent mouse sensitivity.
Also also, i hate when games do this. you have a perfectly fine piece of paper with text on it, designed in a nice way with scribbling and words scribbled out and so on, and then you cover it up with a big text box? why? it totaly takes away from the atmospheric way the paper is designed. because peoplpe might struggle to read the handwriting? thats hardly worth sabotaging the atmosphere for, with text screen that take people right ouf of the experience.

Fox Moulder is watching up into the night sky right at this moment, and he somehow knows that mysterious things are going on around all these stars. and also on Mars.
I love how the setting mood and atmosphere of this game aims at realistic sci-fi like it will be in the year 2100, fine realistic space stations with thick isolations against the eternal coldness on Mars and realistic spacecraft similar to the movie The last Days on Mars, instead of more funky roaring swinging 1950ies in space or unrealistic ultra-sci-fi settings where everyone is antigravitations-hovering and teleporting behind invisible hovering force-fields -alternative timeline universum- approach.

Okay I have questions. Were they clones?
Because Declan seem to have gone completely bonkers with all the writings on the wall and the weird shit in his diary at his post, but the Declan we communicated with through all the game seemed to be sane. Was the one we were talking to a clone, put there because the original Declan went mad and died? Were they all clones including Shane? Were those astronaut ghosts that haunted the sand storm the ghosts of the original crew? Maybe also the ghosts of some of dead clones? .. . Also, was that creature the CEO?

This was one of those games where I really wanted to buy it but never got around to it. I'm glad I watched this because while I don't think the game seems bad, it just seems mediocre. Firewatch was like the one and only walking sim type of game I wanted to play, and realized that those games aren't for me after I finished it. Some of the voice acting in this isn't great but the mom's voice acting (and the voice acting in general during the last part of the game when you're running through the temple) is just insanely bad.

Can u help me please? In the basement memory there are many photos to be collected for a puzzle. But! There is one photo that ia stuked in the woode boards. I use a tool, and the boards fell. yet the photo is still attached in the wall (did not fall. so I cant collect it. and the game. does not allow me to start in a previous saving spot. is there any way to solve it. and not start the game from zero? Thanks!

WoW! Was this the resurrection of Gordon Freeman? Maybe the protagonist is from the classic FPS -Half-Life- This game's the crowbar obtain scene reminded me of the related scene of Half-Life because it looked so similar to that. But the unknown dark space creature won't be killed by that primitive weapon in my guess since it looked so hard to kill.

Why would the Engineer aka repairman not have access to the whole base?
The Engineer having the lowest security clearance on the base?
OK. The man I need to repair or replace things.
I'm not going to give him access to 90% of the areas on the base.
I'm sure nothing bad will happen that requires him to go there.
Makes PERFECT sense.

-MKIceAndFire Whoever does your gameplays is truly terrible and ruins the games. Tell them to use a less twitchy mouse. Hell, for games like this use a controller with a good dead zoning and you can pan like you're using a steadicam instead. Twitchy camera spam jerks the player out of immersion when showing them a game like this.

It'd be nice if they made clear which plant this infection originated from. I'd be curious how this plant-based infection could reproduce within a controlled environment, safe for vegetative propagation. The implication is that this is a mutated mangrove, correct? That wouldn't make much sense.

Wait, the name is a company called Manticore Orochi? Both mythical man eating monsters? Manticore having the head of a man, the body of a lion and the tail of a scorpion in Greek Mythology? And Orochi, the seven headed evil snake demon god? Perfectly trustworthy.

God the dialogue is bad. and it goes from scared to casual to frustratingly apathetic, feels like there-s huge amounts missing. it-s not even like it-s to do with madness he-s just a clunky badly designed character which is a shame because the VA itself isn-t bad

When I first played this, I decided to record myself. I always do that when playing these lovecraftian horrer titles. I ran it through a voice recognizer script I made and apparently, 70-some percent of what I said was simply, -Good god. -

So the protagonist is able to kill a deadly human-tree hybrid and spend a whole minute in Martian atmosphere without a space suit, but cannot climb a waist-high crate (2: 27: 33. God, I just love video game logic.

I didn't launch the rocket and let the monsters come out from the moons - didn't know the game had slightly diferent ending. Very good game but the ending its a bit crap.

at some points like 1: 56: 35 gameplay is iritative and confusing. In real life would be way simpler. Makes you to send the game in recycle bin as most of nowadays games.

The way you casually strolled in the end when the game wanted you to be snappy in comparison with being impatient when you were supposed to explore is annoying really

-sigh. - Another boring walking horror sim. It seems like a recurring theme in most horror games nowadays. There weren't even many monsters in this game.

Man this game when from Ghosts on mars to Resident evil real fast when the Scientiest merged with the tree with all the teeth and eyes on there

What a fabulous experience this game is! I just finished the first phase. I hope there are more adventures coming in the future! Thank you!

Is it weird that after the basement sequence I thought it was obvious who the voice was and that she still worshipped the elder gods

Sees a giant tentacle slithering through water in a Martian base.
Calm and casually: -Uh. what is that? -

Came here to watch the adverts. How annoying and inconsiderate to find a gaming walk through wedged in there.

Not how I remember the rule of two, but fitting that it's a sith rule being applied to a lovecraftian game.

This really seemed like a good game just the ending of it partners makes no sense so I give it a thumbs down

This game called Moon of Madness can make astronauts go mad If they allow the game enter into their heads

It's too bad the books that his mom wrote don't exist, they look like they would be interesting to read.
