The Suicide Of Rachel Foster ALL ENDINGS
video description
1- Rachel and Nicole were very very close friends they grow up together at the hotel. The hotel was their playground. -
They were like sisters. They love each other deeply.
2-Rachel family is very strict and religious borderline fanatic-religious. Rachel was constantly punished by her father (who was a priest if I remember correctly) and mother. She was always afraid of them. Rachel saw Nicole's mom as her own.
3- Nobody knew about the affair between the father and Rachel and her pregnancy. -
This should have been a secret for the player to uncover. -
4- Rachel committed suicide at the hotel for unknown reasons. Burned herself. -
5- Ten years later the father also commits suicide at the hotel in the attic for -
unknown reasons. -
6-No need for Rachel's brother. -
So the setting is this: Nicole is trapped all alone in the hotel (where two people killed themselves) with no way to contact anybody. No phones. Nicole is pushed to face her demons all alone. The only tools she has are a flashlight, a Polaroid camera and a ghost-hunting microphone. The last two are part of her father paranormal equipment. Nicole uses the camera and the mic to capture paranormal events and find clues all over the hotel.
While playing the game Nicole uncovers that: -
1- Her father had a secret affair with Rachel. -
2- Her father constructed a secret bedroom for Rachel. -
3- After Rachel death her father went loco and became obsessed with the paranormal and dark sects. -
Trying to atone for his sins he spend years doing paranormal experiments to -
communicate with Rachel. -
4- The truth about Rachel suicide:
Rachel learned that she was pregnant. A desperate Rachel went to Nicole's mom seeking guidance. -
The mom went loco learning about Rachel's affair with her husband. -
The mom pushed Rachel to commit suicide. Right after the incident Mom and daughter left the hotel for good.
Nicole life was in complete despair. Even after ten years she never got over loosing her dear friend.
5- The truth about her father suicide: -
The father never knew that Rachel was pregnant when she died only Nicole's mom knew. Learning about her pregnancy push him to kill himself or maybe Rachel push him to do it like his wife did to her.
6- Apparitions of the Father and Rachel. Are they real or all in the mind of Nicole? -
Last scene: -
Rachel ghost standing in front of Nicole's car waiting for her to die so they -
can be together again. -
Or Rachel ghost sitting beside Nicole in the car and guiding Nicole to kill herself.

I actually enjoyed the game, but I still felt like it could be more.
There's some points that I would like to make.
-I felt like some clues were pointless, or didn't make sense. Like, idk if I'm dumb, but I didn't get the point of the lipstick at all, for example.
-I didn't like the method of Rachel's murder. I didn't disliked Claire murdering Rachel(some women just prefer to blame the girl than her own husband, but, I mean, there's a huge difference between being hitted to death and jumping of a cliff. In my opinion, Claire could have just, Idk, pushed Rachel of the cliff, or maybe poisoning her, drowning her, idk. The police would know the difference.
-Why Claire's car still had Rachel's clothes full of blood? She could had just washed the evidence.
-Why didn't anybody analysed the suicide letter? I mean, idk, compare her calligraphy with the letter?
-I wish we could have more of Rachel. I know she should be a mistery, but, idk, maybe some flashbacks? Some voice acting? Her name is in the game's title, we should know more about her.
-I wish we could have more clues. Like, actual clues, to find out the truth, and not just something like -hmmmm I just remembered everything, how convenient-.
-Irving motivation could be better? Idk, I mean, him being her brother was ok, but. idk. He could be, like, her childhood friend or something.
-Nicole could be Rachel's friend, before the affair. It would have a better conection between the two girls.
-Not romantize Rachel and Leonard's affair. I mean, at least not Irving. He, as her brother, should know that's wrong.
-Explore more about Nicole's sleepwalk. Idk.
Anyway, this is all I could think, but I still have more to talk about, I just don't remember. What I'm trying to say is, I like the game, I really did, I just think it could be much better in some points.

Yes I was shipping it so hard. But they did not kill him off? He committed su-cide bc of all the pain he went true he had no one and got obssed with knowing what happend, in the end he knew and that brought him peace to finally leave evrything bihind, its really sad but In a way the story made us not suspect that and that what interests me, stories shouldn't always follow the same pattern, its good to have a shift in it to do somting the player will not expect (killing main chather chacther. plot twist etc. In a way I agree with wanting a option for Nicole and him to survive I want that to tbh since when playing the game I was running to evry door that leave outisde to get to him but I do not think it a bad game, I found it great I loved it my mom was probably so done with hearing my thories haha

The game plays with the psychological side of the story. When you play it, you feel a bit paranoiac because of this ghost story but there is no one.
The ambience was good, the graphics were good, the acting was good. And we can ask ourselves a lot of questions throughout the game. It think it was a good game. People were just expecting something else from it.

However, they couldn-t kill the first child Rachel son and Nichole-s brother. She was child-s jealous of the abusive relationship between her father and Rachel, and though Rachel was staying there out of charity. Had she died she would have been freed, they would have found the evidence and the truth would have came out. However if she lives she will be in a purgatory try to fix a hotel that cannot be fits hiding a secrets she knew. Plus the mother was abusing Rachel but felt bad for the baby boy. Oh this was deep, I wonder if you can chase after him in the snow?

I enjoyed it. It was uninterruptible, linear, atmospheric experience with good story. No fear of failure, no fear of starting all over again, just pure atmosphere and story. Great for one sitting pass in rainy evening.
Also, people want strict good and strict bad. They lost their marbles about 16 year old girl's relationships with 49 (can't remember) old dude, because pedophilia. Well, 16 is grown ass woman, just very young. You should rather be disgusted by age difference, because Rachel, obviously, was not a kid, but too young for Leonard. If 20 years old girl marries 69 years old fart, no one bets an eye, even though it as disgusting. And in this game, there was no good or bad, it was just life and people with weaknesses.

Yeah maybe I just dozed off at some point during the game, but a lot of the plot points didn't make sense. Like what was the point of the lipstick not being dried out and still like brand new? I was expecting some sort of time loop arch due to the unchanging nature of that item. Or the ghost hunters. What was the point of that at all? What did they see that scared them out of their room? Why did the door close by itself? Who was the man that called and told Nicole not to sell the hotel? It didn't sound like Irving. Why did Nicole's dad make that room down stairs? What was the point? Lots of loose ends.

The suicide ending game honestly I really like this video game is really awesome ever. Actually I think the game is very interesting and incredible graphics and great design and detail and realistic character r amazing ever very exciting game ever. I think the game has great performance and entertainment and entertaining excitement game ever I like it very much I might buy this game. But when I do buy it I will get it. I think I really enjoyed this video game is really terrific game exllecent and very cool to me. I hopefully it will be very game systems I really love it so much it looks so great ever.

There's actually KINDA a third ending, but just barely. I'm not sure if you actually have to turn on the radio or not, cause all you hear is static and some gibberish anyway, but what I did was I turned on the radio and just waited a few minutes. Just sat there without turning the key or doing anything really. Then Nicole just says some lines very similar to the ones when you turn off the car and don't commit suicide, but without the out of breath like tone. I think the dialogue is very slightly different too, not entirely sure and it's not much, but then again, it's something.

This game looked so good and different with its natural dialogue in what looked like a horror setting and I thought I disagreed with the bad reviews, but then as it turns not really compelling story and bad endings so they were right after all. Sorry reviewers.
Would have been so good with actual paranormal horror elements so that it would have been fully derived from The Shining. I think The Shining only as a thriller would have probably sucked as well, so an actual horror game would have made all the difference.

Keep engine => dies
So all the choices made in the past regarding dialogues went to shiet. IMO is not good. But okay! is a short game anyway! It managed to scare me because I wasn't expecting ghosts and there were none. at least no one can guarantee. she heard things. the fuking whisper on the ear was brilliant. made me stop the game inmediately JAJAA

So, what's happened with painting of wolf near 117 then? First wolf became dangerous. Then he left or Irwin was change the painting. And a doors. He did this? There weren't ghosts. She has a big trauma. So Irwin wasn't in the hotel from the start. The hotel woke up her forgotten memories. And she lost her mind. She is sleepwalker. So this is she who created that Rachel's room.

I wonder why there's no option to, I dont know, try to get to Irving on the mountain or something like this, or stop him from suicide by saying the right words or whatever. I actually like Irving, he was just a broken man who lost the only person he ever loved, and i believe he really liked Nicole and wasn't just acting. Why is there no good ending for those two? :/

Why would pc kill herself, huh? Can someone explain that, because devs surely didn't. The only -reasonable- explanation I have is that she got possessed Rachel's ghost, hence the lack of options when sitting in the car. I spent good five minutes trying to find something other than -Gear - USE-, but in the end the game decided for me. Great

You obviously didn't get the idea, there ARE NO GHOSTS. The characters are being haunted by their past, not by ghosts.
Honestly, it's a really refreshing story. I much prefer this over some generic ghost story.

They should of touched on Rachel's ghost more. Irving implied he was talking to her ghost and with the doors all slamming shut all at once, there was likely a ghost and she never confronted it. Could of went somewhere with that. Like her and Rachel's ghost could of saved Irving or something

i couldt play it but i really think that there should be an ending where we could save Irving, it would have been great to interact with him in person so you can find another end but well. i couldt play it, maybe i will think diferent if i do that but both endings are not of my liking

i just finished playing the game, and actually i got a slightly different ending. I turned on the radio first and then turned on the gear. No exhaust came on, just stated that she was going to stay at the hotel forever. So, the last ending you had but without exhaust

This game is great but they could've made this game way longer with a huger backstory and dope ending. Like what id her dad was still alive somewhere and ivan really didnt walk out into the snow and he's still alive watching her somewhere.

I really didn't want to kill Nicole in my first playthrough. So i waited in the car for like 3 or 4 minutes unfortunately you get the same ending (2nd one where she goes crazy) without the suicide attempt. feels better though

The plot was great but actually gameplay was a lil Garbo. Too much walking around, too much dialogue, I ruined half the game for myself because they allowed me to explore ahead of the plot, and the map isn-t even useful
