I love how vortigaunts think not in tenses but in timelines. Until Alyx agrees to save vort, the Lone Vort lives in one timeline, where both his kin and (subsequently) Eli dies. As soon as she agrees, the Lone Vort immediately jumps into another timeline, where both his kin and Eli are already saved for him.
The entire Lone Vort scene is basically a version of omae wa mo shindeiru.

I believe half-life 3 will never release, maybe a half-life 2 episode 3 that connects portal to the games without just a slight easter egg in episode 2. So far tho, this looks amazing. And my hunger for more half-life games has been filed, for now.

Recently purchased the Winter Sale of HL2 & HL2 Episodes. I am kinda confused if this is HL2 Episode 2. 5 or is this an alternate timeline leading up to the main HL2 EP2 ending? By the way, amazing presentation!
