Varl's death surprised me and I think MAYBE that's what the creators were going for. Most of the people in this comment section believe Erend should have been the one to die and I agree. It would have been a good end to his story. He would have joined his sister and protected Aloy and Beta til the end. His story doesn't have any room for expansion, as someone has already said. And that's probably why they didn't kill him. We'd be sad sure but it wouldn't have impacted us or the in- game characters in the same way. Although they could have done better with his death.

I don-t know why Varl had to die. They could have subverted the -black guy dies- trope and the -black man leaving a family behind to a single black mother- stereotype by letting him live. If anyone had to die, Erend would have been a better option. It would have been a better end to his story. He would have rejoined his sister, having proven himself useful in protecting the Gaia merge. Even if he dies, he only leaves a few friends behind, not a family. His story didn-t have anywhere else to go really. Varl had ambitions and dreams of spreading knowledge; he had love; he had a family.

I wonder what-s better? Regalla-s bow or the armor he gives you if spare her to fight during the final mission? (Personally I think the armor looks cool, but that-s me) Whatever the choice, Regalla dies and nothing major changes on the final mission, just an additional cutscene with regalla-s death and if you spare her you can talk to her at the base for conversation.

Man, this game is something else. Tilda and the Zeniths are exactly what I wished I could ascend to. I know I-ll never know immortality in my lifetime but the way the Zeniths look and act (aside from the selfish homicidal tendencies) what a dream! Infinitely versed in the cosmos and all things human at the same time. And that armor and shield mechanism! (Lip smack) Nice

ok i thought i was just hearing things in a previous video but now ive heard it multiple times
the littler monsters - they used to just make machine noises. but i've heard something from them several times now that sounds almost like words. nonsensical ones, maybe, but sometimes they make sense. what the heck?

I wasn't expecting any major character to dies, but I guess I was wrong and now I found out that Varl was going to have a child and his beloved was going to tell and now she can't this breaks my heart and overall this game is stunning and I can't wait to see how the DLC will see this story continue.

This game is superb, I want to watch the full game because this game is very much expensive in Pakistan (18000 Rs)
I have played the 1st game on my ps4 because it was not that much expensive as forbidden west is. I spend 10, 000 Rs for zero dawn.

Can't believe Kotallo had a prosthetic arm in his pocket but didn't want to ruin the surprise for Aloy so he went to Cauldrons and fought Ragalla's forces with 1 hand, what a badass. rofl

looking at the map, it seems you can spend over hundred hours of gameplay doing all the side quests. I think your mix of side quests and main quest are great.
