This is my opinion a good game that could be a masterpiece if it was not buggy and didn-t focus so much at Lincoln, the underbosses became robotic in those sitdowns, but not a good -mafia game- it-s the weakest cuz this is not mafia it-s a little bit unrealistic, this is combined with three mix saints row, San Andreas and Rambo but more repetitive tbh. hope mafia 4 and 5 if it gets greenlight are the same vibe as the first two games! Overall I enjoyed mafia 3 I give it a 7/10. My favorite was the ending with Joe and Leo and Lincoln that was powerful sad that vito didn-t get Any mention or didn-t show up at any point wasted chance.

-52: 40 If the game designers did any research at all they would realize that SFG (Special Forces Group) isn't a thing. They should've said he served with the MACV-SOG (Military Assistance Command, Vietnam - Special Operations Group) which was established early '64. They could've also said LRRPs (Long-Range Reconnaissance Patrols) but I think the game designers were going after a Rambo type so I don't think LRRPs (pronounced 'Lurps') would've fit the bill because the Lurps were part of regular Army groups and thus followed more orders than MACV-SOG troops.

The only major flaw in this game was the open world mission design. If they spent a little more time fixing the small bugs and added few more in game mechanics (gunsmith/weapon customization, more choices, destructible buildings, etc. it'd be the perfect game. If mafia 4 keeps this up, it has a guaranteed spot in my collection. OR they could stick to the original mafia 1-2 formula for storytelling and mission design. Either way, I have more hopes for the next installment than I do for GTA VI

game had great cutscenes and a decent storyline, top voice acting. unfortunately it had horrible gameplay, it felt like crap, i don't know how to explain it, and the driving was not great either, even the updated version, it fixed it a little bit but still. It also got pretty repetitive, taking over territory took some time and you just did the same things over and over.

Just came back to this game yesterday. Every time I tried to play it before before it would crash in the first mission. So far no crashing this time around. I am cautiously hopeful. But I have just come from another RDR2 play through and I gotta say, gameplay and graphics in Mafia III can-t compare.

For anyone playing this on pc at 4k 60fps lock, does anyone notice the animations are way too fast and sped up? Very noticeable in shooting or punching, like sped up by 1. 5x speed. I was playing it myself and noticed it. Thought smth was up with my game but I see the same thing in this video.

Just wanna say the way some of the them said -Reserve- and other words, really touches my heart. My grandpa used to talk like that, lived in rural Georgia back in the '20s and '30s. Lost him to leukemia in 2000 when I was only 10 years old, still miss him to this day.

this was my first ever mafia game i played back in 2017v, but I didn't get to finish it cause i was playing it on my cousins Playstation. fast forward to 2023 i played both mafia 1 and 2. it was super fun, now currently playing mafia 2 again on my Playstation.

The only gripe I had with this game is how it didn't play like its predecessor, Mafia 2. Mafia 3 is a beautiful game in hindsight, but I couldn't get into it after a few days, maybe 4 at most, of playing it. I'll just settle for watching this.

One little tidbit: I'd keep the Samson, you needn't be switching cars so often unless you've got heat on you and you need to throw them off the trail. Just some advice but you play the game the way you wanna.

By -no- means is this game flawless (especially with how semi-fragile the game engine still feels to this day, but the story, soundtrack, acting, and writing are honestly worth at least one playthrough.
