I liked how in Char, if you avoid knocking over any of the ash statues of the people (intentionally/accidently shooting or running into them; traps knocking them down do not count, someone in the armory before Griffin's office will unlock their supplies and let you pick out some sweet guns for the run on the refinery. Longshot, Boomguns, I think a torque bows, and grenades.

Man I remember playing this game on 4 person co-op mode with my buddies in high school, we beat it in one weekend and we-re just dead silent in the Xbox live party when Dom sacrificed himself, they truly do not make games like this anymore. Probably one of the last few times we all actually played a game like this together.

gears 3 is the best in the series for me, the plot is clear, the ending is logical, the boss in the form of a queen is epic, and the moments with Cole's football past at the stadium and the death of Dom and Adam Phoenix are the most memorable, even epic, well, given the X360 exclusive, the best gameplay and graphics)

Hey question and would appreciate it if someone can respond asap but I just started Gears of war 3 today and was immediately level 10 on starting the game but I never played any other gears of war games prior to this Is this a normal thing? thanks for making this video and the others i always enjoy gears games. a small thing that made me a bit stressed was when you used mulchers or turrents and didnt press RB to cool them down fast but wasnt bad just was funny to me you didnt use it when you needed to but i love the video

1: 15: 00 wonder what position Cole played. He has a statue of him running the ball but those little flashbacks looked like tackles. Could be an Iconic fumble and run back, I-d take a gamble and say he was a linebacker. Looks like a he was inspired by Ray Lewis lol

I got the game on Saturday in the evening and just beat it today. Seeing Dom die was a hit to everyone and heartfelt. To run with Marcus in all 3 gears and see that happen was something It stopped me when that happened. Beat gears of war 2 earlier in the week.

There's just something unnervingly haunting about there being no music during Dom's sacrifice. Like, RIP copyright claim, but damn. I feel like that whole scene hits so much harder without the Mad World background track.

Crazy how Gears 3 really pushed the Xbox 360-s graphical capabilities and now with the new consoles with updated lighting and resolution still holds up for todays standards. Truly a visual masterpiece.

The fact that Microsoft managed to get an Xbox 360 game to run at 1440p 60fps is insane. It goes to show how advanced this was to get a 4K patch too.
