Damn I wasn-t expecting the ending to make me bawl like a baby. Just reminds me so much of my own dad, he isn-t the kind of person who shows a lot of affection, but one night after we all got home from a night out, pretty drunk, he spilled his heart out to me. About how proud he is of me and how much he loves me. I never felt so loved until that night, I tear up just thinking about it.
So Ethan really reminds me of him, I-m lucky to still have him in my life, especially after finding out he has cancer, but thankfully it-s been caught so early that there-s no need to worry, and the treatment is easy and guaranteed he-ll be fine.
I love my dad so much. -

I get it it's a cute story the dad thing, but for me it's so repetitive tho it's like playing the same game over and over again with different main characters. three times i've seen Evelyn make mommy tantrums and fail then Miranda with her shit at least Rose had powers and that can explain how she could fight entities like that but Ethan did it just with a bunch of guns which is weird too cause if i'm a monster with superpowers i can probably dodge a bullets like nothing and beat everybody without any powers like mine. for me it's a good looking fun game but it has a lot of flaws of making sense not gonna lie.

I have read alot of reviews about this. And I want to know what do you people want. It's a dlc not a new game. The story part is short and nothing revolutionary about the story or game changing about the story. That's what I have read at like ign and others. Again it s a dlc what do you really expect? It's not a new game redo like resident evil, re2, re3 and soon re4 those where fabulous games some much new original content and story re4 will be awesome also. But those are whole games from the ground up this is just a dlc

Wow, nice story! I would love for the RE to continue this Rose storyline.
I just don't see how it will be possible to have Rose continue to be the main protagonist. If she still has ALL her abilities from the Miranda Boss Fight, she is WAY too strong for the average zombie, werewolf, or whatever. I'm down for it, but I don't know how the hardcore RE fans will react -

interesting for some of its ideas but it feels apparent the series wants to end just so the workers can make something else cause we really are losing the script, like mental battles now and yeah the writing here is weaker for some reason way too much expositioned, never leaving player alone with their thoughts long enough

so the ending of the dlc and the main story is rose's origin, i figured something was off when she was reffered to as eviline, proclaming that she can do things beyond chris' wildest dreams, and respondiling happily when she cas compared to her father. Where she herself didn't meet, this dlc is just filling those holes.

I-m assuming Shadows of Rose is in between the finale of Village-s story and the epilogue, and this is the reason for Rose-s visits to Ethan-s grave- She could finally see him protect her in action, and she was absolutely thankful for his sacrifice.

I loved it! The ending was heartwarming! It would change the whole game if the next Resident Evile would continue with Rose! She had that special powers on her, its just amazing, different and unique on this game!

Huh, I guess both Rose and Ethan were tested in common. Ethan had been played by Donna Beneviento, then Rose played by someone like Donna Beneviento. With the Mia's doll feels like memories came back from the past.

Also this Resident Evil could of been a little bit longer, like the same length as Resident Evil Village. And should of have more bosses like the Duke. Still a good gameplay though.
