But. Speaking as a kid who was in Rose's situation in school, knowing the answers to the questions, not having any friends, Hot damn did this kid grow up with some trauma. I had a supportive family and I still came out of high school not quite a functional human. Rose had Chris Redfield. And. he's not the best example, I think. She called him Chris instead of dad, and I don't even know what happened to Mia, her actual mom. But I'm so glad that Rose got to speak to her dad, one last time.
God, I'm never gonna be over this. I already felt so hard for Eveline, and how all she wanted was a family in her own twisted way, and now we get this. I need fanfics, stat.

I didn-t expect to enjoy the story of this DLC as much as I did.
I have issues with RE8 for not being very scary. However, I always enjoyed playing as Ethan, so seeing Rose and Ethan interact in this DLC definitely gave the feels.
That said, it-s really silly how Capcom refuses to show Ethan-s face. It gets kind of distracting because of how ridiculous it is. I don-t know why they obsess over hiding it so much when the final moments between him and Rose could-ve been EVEN MORE impactful if we could see his facial expressions too.
But, it-s nevertheless a beautiful conclusion to his character.

Hm, if she was able to transport the ring through the megamice to her world she could have littlerly hold hands with Ethan and take him back. Or would that just take his hands? And because that ending scene takes place after the dlc. Did Ethan make it back? Becuase the car slows down and people have found out, yes Ethan was the person walking towards the car. So, huh? How is that the end of the Winters story? I have so many questionssss.

one thing didn't like about the 3rd person mode on this game is the crosshair, just literally stuck in front of you, wish those crosshair only appear when you aim
