Nothing in this game is believable.
It has writing on the level of borderlands 3.
It repeats the same jumpscares over and over and over.
I'm at 4: 11: 00 and I can't take this anymore. All three are hidden from him and have a chance to jump him from behind and bite his throat out, or attack him with the multitude of makeshift weapons they could have picked up along the way but didn't. A nice broken 2x4 to the back of his head would've done wonders.
Even if I were to overlook this, the rest of the game doesn't make up for it on any level. Not to mention it hamfists in a bunch of. I don't even know what to call it. It's not puzzles, but it's not exactly just walking either. Push this bookcase here, put the ladder down, go back and move the bookcase again. Rinse and repeat this for 17 rooms before the next forgettable scene plays out. For anyone who hasn't started watching yet, what you see at the start, their -journey- to the lighthouse is long and dull and is a nice showcase to 90% of what you're about to see.
But hey, everyone else seems to be enjoying it so.

A total disappointment. I thought that it would be smth more interesting, tricky, unique, supernatural and with a big surprise ending. The plot by itself is pretty good and it might have been more spectacular. If i was a director, i would have made Charles a maniac, i kind of was expecting that. Not just a primitive ending with standard plot twists before it. There are dozens of games like that. I still remember Man of Medan and especially my admiration of the ending of Little Hope. These parts were the greatest ones, scary, many jumpscares, you think that the Devil himself has surrounded these heroes, but then you are given a rational explanation. It was super cool to me. And also you could not remain indifferent but empathize with the fate of the characters. In that part after them dying i felt nothinh. I just hope that the game developers will keep their ears open and the next part will be as fascinating as the first two.

Saved me lots of time to avoid playing this myself.
The character's eye line of sight is horrible. where they are looking at is never in line correctly.
What the heck are those animators doing? Even the expressions are buggy and looks creepy.
One example is at 3: 51 where the girl is looking at us instead of at the guy. and her expression -jumped- a second later.
And at 2: 52 girl's eyes are looking too high up. That guy is not that tall!
And these are just 2 out of 1000 issues.
Super Super horrible work.
I'm glad i'm not goner waste anytime downloading it myself.

Until dawn was amazing, man of medan and little hope weren't bad, house of ash was great and now the quarry and the devil in me are just hot garbage. It's like the character designers all left after house of ash to be replaced by woke idiots. Used to be so good at writing characters (even the ones that were a-holes were still likeable in an a-hole way) but now pretty much every character is just completely unlikeable and unbearable to watch.

This is a cool game and all, but the characters are annoying. Not just personality wise, but also because they leave out the most crucial details when things get serious. For example, Jamie didn't tell anyone about how Charlie activated a pressure plated trap to kill the hooded man nor did she tell anyone about how Charlie fell into the floor via a trapdoor.

Gladly it's not the last chapter, but it was hardly great one, expect unique theme, terrific environment 'n realism of happenstances. Well, not the best out of collection for certain, could just say one of the awful, characters merely likable, so you would sympathize only to Muray at the end. But there wasn't any bloody aliens, so that's it 5/10

I did enjoy this game but just about, but I feel that the series hasn't evolved much since until dawn and that was an amazing game. Maybe they want to play it safe. That said, I enjoyed Quarry much more and that game hardly did anything different. It might be that the map was bigger and there was more action and supernatural stuff.

Damn I almost saved them all - i literally thought it was over when they all got into a boat as we were escaping. I was like damn i made it Mission completed- swinging on the chair but then out of the blue that mf showing up with an axe spoiled everything i had no time to click the mouse button -

This game is sick but the characters are ok. Mark is my favorite and I think the Quarry has better characters good story but the devil in me is based of an actual killer which is awesome. I'm going to say I think the Quarry is better bc of the characters but mark in the devil In me is phenomenal.

Just letting you know that in the glass crushing scene you can save both characters- Jamie needs to press the button that will move towards Kate and while the glass is moving, Kate will shatter the glass by accident as she-s pointing the screwdriver towards the glass.

Just started this one, I love these so much. I've never played one I just watch these. They genuinely feel like a good thriller movie. I can tell for some reason the facial expressions and eye movement seems a little wonky in this game so far though

This episode was better when it was about the cool murder house full of traps and not the worlds slowest, most incompetent, goofiest looking axe murderer who literally couldn't catch someone if they ran right into him.

So much diversity. So stunning and brave. Characters were boring since the developers had to check the social checkboxes. It was more subtle in the earlier games by this developer now they hit you in the head with it

This game is really good. although more attention to how the -World's Fair Hotel-. aka Murder Castle actually would have looked(it wasn't this opulent) would have made it that much better. Just my opinion.

The faces do not look good in this game at all. Kate looks like she's 50 years old when she's probably supposed to be in her 20s.

At the one point where Charles fell after pulling that door handle off, 2 and a half seconds (roughly) would have meant he fell around 64 feet. that's insane.
