This game is just way over the top hard! Sercond I reached the village, enemies surrounded me and I was outnumbered. More enemies than I had bullets. Then when all my ammo was gone, a crazy chainsaw guy came after me. Odds of survival? IMPOSSIBLE!
I ran into building after building looking for ammo. I finally ran into a shed, broke a box and found some. Only to have tons of enemies PLUS the chainsaw maniac, follow me inside where I got boxed in and died.
RE4 prides itself on making sure entire crowds gang up on you and you're always outnumbered. And the amount of health taken per hit is just ridiculous and uncalled for. I had better odds of survival and more fairness, in Elden Ring! It feels like a shooting gallery, one wave after another.
That's not RE, that's not scary. Nothing about this feels remotely scary or like a true RE game. Just a Call of Duty with zombies. Endless crowds coming after you and without the ammo to deal with it.
Last gripe is the aim. OMG this is so F----D up! I wasted half a dozen shots just trying to hit a zombies head. Six misses trying to get the damn pointer on his head instead of all over the damn room.

I know this game is supposed to be hard but huh WTH! Special Agents and all and he only has a gun with 10 bullets and a knife? Even if he crashed, his gun and equipment are still intact so not even an argument. Looks good tho but this little detail peeved me off and yeah I know how stingy Resident Evil has always been with weapons and ammo.

I remember the first time I play resident evil 4. I died at the beginning of the village after the tutorial section. Chainsaw man got me. Good game but horror game is not for me. I've play resident evil 6 with my friend, and it was fine because we're playing multiplayer.
But anyways, MK, nice job. Love your gameplay

Everything about this is phenomenal. The characters, the animation, the lighting, the sound design, the voice acting, the cutscenes, the seamless transitions between gameplay and cutscenes. It's faithful to the original yet expands upon it and enhances it in many ways. GOTY contender for sure.

At some point I asked myself. You are an agent, a special agent who familiar with special enemies, rush into a mission to save a girl from evil creatures, travel to rural area but only bring 10 rounds in a gun? How the hell? Well even if John wick cant do that.

At least now they got right the spanish accent. But if they wanted to do it in Spain they could've made a little research about the place.

Played the OG back in 2005 on the ps2 when i was in middle school. Beat the game over 150 times, unlocked the PRL cannon, hand cannon, Chicago typewriter, just wow. Can't believe the remake is already here.
