Best thing about Fire in the Sky chapter.
1. Joshua transformed to Phoenix offscreen had me the Eren transform to Titan vibe.
2. Jill is so loyal to Clive that she would strike her rapier against Annabella for insulting him, if that isn't love then I don't know what else is there to it.
3. At this point I feel sorry for Dion. He is controlled by his 'half-brother' aka Ultima and goes on a rampage for destroying the lands of Twinside. However, the epic battle between the Rosfield brothers vs. Bahamut was truly one of the most intense battles I've ever experienced aside from Titan Kupka battle.
4. Finally, the reunion between Clive and Joshua was very moving. I got goosebumps when they looked at each other for the first time after many years apart.

Ok, now that there's definitely not an outright stated lore reason, why tf does Clive's mom look 20? Like, almost 20 years have passed since the start of the game (5 year time skip and 13 year time skip. Plus, at the start of the game, Clive was a teenager (I'll be generous and say 15. So, even assuming she had kids really young (cause medieval era, she would be at least 30 during the opening flashback sequence. Being incredibly generous, she would have to be about 50 years old, and the game doesn't even put one wrinkle on her skin. Really broke my immersion.

My game had an entirely additional scene that was missing from this. after ultima changes the sky with -primogenesis- at the hour and a half mark, there is a scene with barnabus being instructed by ultima to -sever mythos's relationships. -. He is naked and also talks to visions of hugo, benedikta, and his mother. - Are you playing the north american version? Could yours be censored?

Now after that ultima reveal, I think Annabelle has been manipulated by ultima from the very start. Like after or before Clive was born. There is no backstory given for her and we don't see her giving any military order throughout the game, she must have been manipulated by ultima to start the culling and also to attack her family in the beginning of the game.
