I've seen rumors that Kuai is going to be this universe's scorpion but I highly doubt Ed Boon would do that to Hanzo, his favorite character.
More than likely, Kuai Liang might just be the youngest brother of Bi-Han AND Scorpion in this new timeline and will take over as Sub Zero in the next game as usual once Bi-Han definitely becomes Noob Saibot again

Hanzos and Bi-Hans fate have always been tribulated by Quan Chi and Shinnok.
They are targetted because of their potential to become specters of the netherrealm.
Bi-Han due to his cold blooded passion and Hanzo due to his heart burning heart.
I wont be surprised if the plot involves Quan Chi manipulating Bi-Han to kill the Grandmaster.
He is bound to come to blow with his brother like even stabbing them in the back. The hole thing will quickly escalate resulting the split of the lin kuei and his and hanzos death.

I think they kinda messed up with his personality. Bi-Han never was a hero, sure, but he wasn't exactly a villain, either. He was on the first tournament just to kill Shang Tsung and collect his bounty lmao. He was more of a neutral type of guy, just a tiny bit leaning into hero stuff, but just tiny. Here he talks like a cartoon villain. I understand that they need to prepare the grounds to transform him into Noob Saibot later, but it feels a bit too much. Actor is also overacting a bit

Bi- Han never was a villain type character. He was just more like Vegeta in a sense? He's very grumpy but will do the heroic stuff but just in a very lazy way. I mean look at Mythologies he still did what Raiden told him to do it's just he's not Kuai Lang who is far more heroic but Bi-Han is far from a villain

Idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but the intros should be reduced to just that clash like scene and the quick aftermath move. Not a whole other intro with whole different dialogue.

I prefer Bi-Han over Kuai Liang, he just feels more like Sub Zero. And in this timeline, he and Hanzo are allies, further proving that he and Scorpion can be allies and not just Kuai Liang
